scams
I placed what I thought was a one time service to this company for a phone number look up of 4.95.
The next thing I know they are deducting $19.95 out of my checking account every month. I tryed to call and cancel but you can not get though on the phone so I emailed. They said they would reply in two business days but they didn't.

Unauthorized Charge
I used this company ONE time for a reverse phone number at a "One Time Price of $4.95" well since this ONE TIME OFFER Intelius has been withdrawing $19.95 from my account for a grand total of $44.85. After several phone calls and hearing the recording of "estimated hold time 20 minutes" which went way over 20minutes and still not speaking with anyone from Customer Service. I contacted my bank and I was told that the only way to STOP Intelius from withdrawing the $19.95 is to cancel my card. This will end up being a complete mess but, it is well worth the headachs. Please tell everyone you know that this company can be a nightmare.

Unauthorized billing
I too used Intellius for a one time use and somehow this company has my account information and was taking the monthly fee. The call lasted approximately 60 seconds, the rep # 26192 told me the money would be in my account within 5 business days. She advised me that I apparently didn't uncheck a box which gave me 10 days of free service with this company, after the 10days if I don't cancel it they will bill me $19.95 a month. I don't believe I ever saw such a thing on the screen. I will never use Intellius again.

I was charged 19.95 since june for services i did not agree to. In the month of june i was charged this amount 2 times in that month. I would like a refund for the amount u took out of my account the last four months.

Customer service
I made a phone call to the Intelius Company to have my information removed from the website. Me and my husband are both police officer's and for the safety of are family we have to be removed. They left me on hold for 30min then told me that I had to fax the request to them. I explainded that I had been attempting to do that for the past 5 days and there fax machine was full. I then stated I would like to speak with a supervisor, and then again placed on hold for 20min.I then was able to leave my number for a call back and I am still waiting for a call. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE USED BY ANYONE ... THIS COMPANY IS A HUGE SCAM!!!

I was billed for subscrition that i did not request i aks to refund money back to my account. I only wanted look up a phone number i accepeted the 4.99 charge but thats all

harged 19.95 to my credit card for services I did not want and I want my money refunded immediately
I only authorized a withdrawal to these people for $.99. When I checked my acct I found that they had taken that amount plus a withdraw of $19.95 was also taken out on 9/22/08. I want the money refunded to my acct or me anmd do not want any further business with this company. I am also notifying my bank to this matter. Thanks for any help, but this is theft.
