unauthorized billing
I do not know who authorized you to charged my acct, in the last 2 months there has been ove $300 .00in charges to my acct, ontop a subscription charge.I have tried calling you for the last 2 months to no avail, I want the money put back into my acct, I never signed up for this whatever service, you have overdrawn my acct over $150.00 because of these charges

was charged for a subscription I never signed up or agreed to
I have had a couple monthly charges for a subscription I never signed up for on my my credit card account that shouldnt have been charged. I used your website once to look up a phone number and was charged .99 that I agreed to. I never agreed to becoming a member and paying a monthly fee. I have never been back on that website or used it but that one time. I would like to have my credit card reimbursed and if there is a membership it needs to be cancelled immediately! I have tried calling numerous times and am put on hold for a ridiculious amount of time, never getting to speak with a representative. Please fix this asap. I wasnt expecting these charges and it has put my card over the limit. If this cant be fixed by you, I do intend to file a dispute with my credit card company. Thanks for your time and cooperation.

INTELIUS
INTELIUS subscribed me to a service I don't want and when contacted they say I signed up for the service when I visited their web site. Since the character that owns it lives in my state, I'm half a mind to pay him a personal unexpected visit. What a fraudster. He should be in prison. I'm contacting the Attorney General of Washington about this scam. Since I'm over 65 and disabled its a felony in Washington to scam a senior citizen. Hope the S.O.B. reads this. Hope the Attorney General does something. Wish me good luck.

I used intelius online to find an old friend
now they are taking about 20.00 dollars
a mo. out of my visa card.
I've filed a complaint with the Federal trade commission.

I was charged 57.00 for a one time search and then charges for subscription were on my card.I would like to be reimbursed for any extra charges I didnot incure. I want a response asap or I will have my lawyer contact you.Thank you, T.Cummins

Unauthorized charges
I used Intelius for one time transaction just to find a person and the tool is very much user-friendly and easy to navigate. The service fee was charged yet I received an additional $20 charge several weeks later saying I have also purchased a 'Identity Protection Package' which I have never authorized this transaction and the order has never shown in my first transaction.
I called the customer service and it took me about an hour to get through; their customer service rep responded my dissatisfaction with 'there's nothing we can do because it comes along with your first people search purchase; therefore we cannot offer any refund.'
The ridiculous thing is, this identity protection has a totally different order number and if what he said is true, why I did NOT see any indication of this additional charge when I purchased their service the first time!?
Their search tool may be useful, but I am very disappointed about how they used my account info and charge me for something I have not been notified or aware of - I consider this almost like a deceit rubbing customers' money & rights.
