monthly charges
My wife died in December and I used your directory service to try and get the telephone number of a friend of hers in California. It was unsuccessful. I was charged $0.91 and I thought that was the end of it. Now I am getting charged $ 19.95 on my credit card every month for your service. I never knowingly signed up for your service and do not want it as I am 85 years old, retired and do not need your service. Please cancel this service. I feel I should get a refund credited to my credit card for the charge of $ 19.95 in December and January for a total of $ 39.80. I was not informed that I had to subcribe to use your service once. Unwanted Charges
I only wanted ONE phone number checked, was charged the $.99 that I was supposed to, then was charged $19.95 for 24 hrprotect plus, and then today was charged another $19.95 for intelius subscription. I never autherized those charges to be deducted from my account! I sent an email after the first $19.95 charge to cancel whatever I was enrolled in, and also wanting a refund. Still no answer from them, I'm going to contact my bank to see what can be done to stop charges. Def. a rip off!!

With Card ************0515 -$19.95 . I have never subscribe to this company. I used their .99 cents trial but I never subsrcibe to the company. I would like my money put back asap.

Unathorized Charges
I ordered a couple if reportsw from Intelius and I noticed on my December and January statements that $19.95 had been charged for both months to valuemaxc123 for services that I did not order or authroize. My check card is overdrawn because of these unauthorized charges.

unauthorized credit card charge
I used INTELIUS once for information from a reverse lookup. I paid the one-time charge for the info I needed. They have now charged me a 19.95 subscription fee, and I checked the "NO" box for the subscription offer. I see that this has happened to many others as well.

did not ok this charge
i used my debit card for a 1, 95 charge and was refunded when the company could not complete my inquiry. the i was charged 19.95 and there is no reason for it the charge came on 1 /20/2009
please refund this charge as it is not warrented

unauthorized withdraw
Hi I Experienced tha same scam of 19.95 made by VALUEMAX.I would like to file a legal lawsuit against Intelius and VALUEMAX .Please send your name address and phone number to my email / [email protected]/ because I want to convince the court that my case is not an isolated incident and how wide spread this scam is.Thank you for your help.I really hope that I can do something against these online scam companies. /Ivan/ |

Scam
The pretent to help you out, they have the information but they will charge usa monthly fee without you noticing/or accepting and if you decided to accept a disct amount you will be enroll and other things for additional charges of $19.95 per subscription and an additional $19.95 a month until you notice. Oh and neither company will give you your total refund only portion of it. I called them both and they have an attitude when answering the phones and they would not give you more information than "Ican only refund you one not both charges".
