CHARGE ON MY CC FOR A SUBSCRIPTION I DIDN'T ORDER..

I had been looking for an old friends new phone and I had the unfortunate experience to falling victim to a joint scam between Intelius an a company named Value Max, which is supposedly some kind of savings service for all kinds of different services, The scam is that Intelius gave value max my credit card number (which I never authorized) and they had been charging my account 19.95 per month (two months charges before my statement came out). At the same time Intelius keep flooding my email account with offer to protect me against fraud isn’t that ironic as well as a great twist on a scam.
Also I not only paid a quite high price for the phone numbers but for the service form Intelius none of the ones I was given were correct. So I am feeling like I was scam not once but twice by Intelius. What really makes me mad is Intelius has tied themselves to most of search engines so it is hard to find searches for friends or phone numbers without being redirected t them SCAM THREE!!
BEWARE OF USING INTELIUS THEY WILL CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS THAN YOU WILL RECEIVE IN SERVICE
What is sad is they should read their own web site section "Intelius Privacy Policy" words are cheap I guess.

i have been charged for services for which i have never subscribed for i just choose to take information of one individual and wrap up .now i want my money back and want to unsubscribe asap.

My name is Devin Drake, I looked at my online bank account today and saw " VISA CHECKCARD DB-POINT OF SALE INTELIUS SUBSCRIPTION 877-974-1563 Debit $19.95"

I had Intelius do a $5 reverse phone look up for me one time a week ago and most certainly never agreed to join any monthly subscription service. I am opening a dispute with my bank about the transaction and wish to be removed from the Intelius subscription list. I will also change my banking card so as to inhibit any further charges from them. I can't believe that in these hard economic times there are monsters like this scamming people!

I purchased a one time people finder fee of $1.95 today, March 11, 2009. People Finder is owned by Intelius Inc. I did not receive the information I was promised and was very upset by the deception. Several hours later, I received an email from a compay called Value Max thanking me for my subscription with them. i never signed up for a subscription with them and had never heard of them before. They had my personal information and credit card number. When I called them to cancel this service for which i never signed up for, I was informed that it came with my people finder purchase. I never authorized this!!! This a scam! Intelius gave all my personal information and credit card information to another company with out my authorization!! I called both companies and demanded refunds and cancellations of any account. I then did an online search of any cmplaints against Intelius and was shocked to see the hundreds of complaints of the same thing! I am now scared that I will see more so called partners of Intelius claim that I signed up with them too. i have since alerted my credit card company and changed my card number. I think that Intelius should be held responsible for improper business practices and for fraudulent activity.
