Still waiting for my refund after several "promises"
I received several promises (I still have their emails) for a refund of a purchase I cancelled before they sent the product. I wonder if this company even exists outside cyberspace.

Product Availiablity - Money not Refunded
I purchased an $80 blender from this company back in April. They were prompt to credit my credit card for the purchase, but to date I have yet to receive either a refund or the product. We've been following up about once a month and we get a standard reply message saying that they will credit our account immediately. It's been since April and we haven't received anything. I'm writting to the NY Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I don't want to see anyone else harmed by this company, and this just can't continue.

Dodgy business practice
When i received the item, it is a different model than i ordered.DG-580. I asked the company to refund me for my order and also pay the shipping, they won't pay for shipping the item back to their warehouse.

The item is advertised wrong on their website, if you do a search for DG-980 on their website, you will be pointed to this listing, and it says the "Rowenta Steam Generator DG-980 IN STOCK" It even shows the DG-980 picture, this is totally misleading to show a picture and point to a model that they dont have anymore, and charge you for it and then tell you to pay shipping for it since it is not their mistake.IT IS THEIR MISTAKE...

This is not a good business practice to sell a product by showing its picture and its model number and then on that final page, just write down that they will send u something else... They should not be showing any page with reference to DG-980 if they dont have it in stock anymore...the new model DG-580 should be displayed only ...

They will take your money and run
I shop online often and with no issues before now. I ordered a wireless thermometer from iKitchen.com on 12/29/08. Weeks pass and I don't hear anything from the company regarding my order, a tracking #...nothing. I e-mail iKitchen.com customer service on 1/12/09 about my order. On 1/13 iKitchen.com e-mailed that the item was back-ordered. Now, this was only after I contacted them first. iKitchen.com policy stated that the customer would be notified if the item was on back-order.

So I wait until 1/26 and e-mail iKitchen.com again about the item I ordered. Customer Service responded back that the order was canceled. I checked my account, and iKitchen.com had charged me for the item the SAME DAY they told me it was canceled! Now it is 3/10/09 and they still have not refunded my money. I have e-mailed iKitchen.com again about this issue and have received no reply. Will I ever see my money again?!?!

This is very frustrating and I am to the point of feeling helpless since they already have my money. I don't think internet businesses should be able to get away with that. BEWARE of iKitchen.com! Unfortunately, companies like this give internet businesses a bad name. And in my experience with iKitchen.com they are not trustworthy.

Month later, still have not received a refund
I ordered a coffee maker. It took them no time at all to charge me even though they did not have the item in stock.

It took over 3 weeks (and several inquiries) before I had any communication what so ever from them. Finally I get an email saying - sorry we expect them "shortly". I replied "cancel it and please confirm it has been cancelled." Weeks go by again and I make several attempts to contact them to no avail. I finally get a response to my email saying - ok we will cancel it and refund your credit card.

Now it is a month later and I stil have not received a refund. Again - no response to emails, no one answers the phone. My next stop is to challenge the charge with my credit card company and let them go after ikitchen for the refund.

Buyer beware...

Horrible experience
I ordered two Cuisinart Waffle Makers on December 12, expecting the shipping to take 5 - 9 days as described. They immediately took the money from my PayPal account, and sent me an email order confirmation. On Christmas Eve, I emailed to ask for an order status because I had not received any communication from them and no waffle maker. Two days later I received an email saying that the items were on backorder and a reminder that the "fine print" says it may be backordered. Fine - was told to expect the item within two weeks. The third week in January I had not heard anything from them regarding the order so I emailed them. (They supposedly have a phone number that will be back online when they are through having "technical problems." BULL - they didn't have any technical problems taking my money from Paypal. To this day there is still not a number there.) They never returned my second email and no waffle maker yet and we are 6 weeks from the $90 order. Today I filed a complaint with PayPal to get my money back. This seller is not reliable and not worthy of any of their "credentials" at the bottom of their site. Horrible experience.

Charging credit card for canceled order never shipped
I ordered a Cuisinart from Homebrands November 27 2009. They didn't tell me it was on back order until I called 2 weeks later. I canceled the order and received written confirmation of the cancellation from Julie Miller, Customer Support at 212 564 0042 on Dec 10th. I subsequently ordered and received the product from another vendor.

In early January, Homebrands charged my credit card $310.84 for the Cuisinart (not shipped at this point and previously canceled). I called customer service and they reversed the charge on 1/6/2010. The very next day, on 1/7/2010, Homebrands charged my credit card $310.84 once again. The charge has been disputed with the credit card company.

I called Homebrands January 8th and two additional times after that and talked to people in both accounting and customer service and they promised to reverse the charge, but still have not done so. The product was never shipped so never should have been charged to begin with, much less charged twice AFTER the order was canceled.

I have reported Homebrands, Brooklyn, NY to the BBB in New York. I would like other people to be aware of the problems in purchasing from this company.

Bad customer service
I ordered a Jobar Rechargeable Long Reach Bug Vacuum System on March 21, 2009. It is now over 2 months later and I still have not received it. When I contact the company to cancel my order, they have refused to do so stating that it is on backorder and will be sent when available. A reputable company would allow you the option of canceling if they are unable to fill your order in a reasonable amount of time. I am very dissatisfied with their service.

money taken, item never shipped
I ordered a coffeemaker from Ikitchen.com in April 2009. On May 15, 2009, $69.62 was debited from my account. After cancelling my order on June 15th and requesting a refund, I still have not received my refund. I have made numerous inquiries and I am told every time that they are sending it to an account specialist and to allow 72 hours to resolve the situation. I still do not have my money.

Worst Customer Service
Be warned!!! Do not order from this company...Huge Scam!!! will take your order, Charge your credit card and never send your item...Will not answer your email...No valid phone number for customer service...Google the name ikitchen.com and check out other reports on this company...
