HP customer service
I have never had such bad customer service as I have had with Hewlett Packard. We had our laptop approximately 3 months before it quite powering up. After lengthly phone conversations trying to resolve the problem we had to ship it to their repair center. That part, other than being without a computer for 5-6 days, wasn't so bad. However, when we received the laptop back (which was brand new and in mint condition) the outer case looked like it had been dropped on a pile of rocks. Calling customer service, again, (in India) we were told "not to worry" send it back (again!) and we will take care of it. After a week had passed from when tracking showed the repair center received it we went online to find they "had been trying to reach us" and to contact them and a service amount was due in the amount of $315 dollars! After arguing with someone in India because he could not help me without BOTH service order numbers I was transferred to a manager. Well that was the worst. He explained that "this time" he would waive the service fee but that should be expected when you return something for repair!?! and he would doing me this great favor... Obviously I was talking to the President or owner of Hewlett Packard because when I asked to speak to his supervisor I was told there was noone above him. I will never buy another Hewlett Packard product as long as I live. This is very unfortunate because I really do like the laptop but it's not worth going throught what I went through with their customer service. Also, it is next to impossible to voice your complaint with the company directed, so I guess they don't want to know how they are doing in that department...
