I booked through Hotels.com in advance. I asked for a room for five of us. One included my daughter in a wheelchair. I was told we would have a room with 2 double beds and a sofa. When I arrived, i was given a room on the second floor and the hotel had no elevator. So they gave me a room on the ground floor, but the handicap parking was on the other side of the building. The room had 2 double beds and a little table. When I called Hotels.com and asked them to rectify the situation...I was told that to had to take it up with the hotel mgmt. SO I went to the front desk and was told that there was no remarks on the reservation for an upgraded room. I informed her that the room was not big enough to get my daughters wheelchair in and that if we had to stay in that room, I needed a cot. I was told that I could not get a cot. SO five of us crammed into this small room. 3 hours from home..Should have drove home. Both Hotels.com and Days Inn Refused to help me. I asked the rep on Hotels.com to give me her name and she hung up. I asked the asst. mgr his name and he said "I don't wanna." Hotel room was dirty. Stains on the wall. Mold around the shower stall molding. Black dirt on the bottom of the tub. I have plenty of pictures... Informed me that she highly doubts the room is dirty. I asked her to come and see it. She said that she would send someone around. Never did!!! I called Days Inn's 1-800 number to complain and they never responded back..NEITHER HAS HOTELS.COM. Better off researching and booking on your own. Atleast you'll know what u booked.
