Unjustified billings
Billed initially for a trial lasting 7 days, during which time I was supposed to receive a number undefined of surveys to complete in order to gain my first earnings, I had absolutely no offers. On receiving my bank statement at the end of July I saw that I had been billed 47 USD without any explanation as to the billing company, other than a number, which proved to be a telephone number somewhere in Texas. When I looked back into my previous statements I came across other 47 USD billings and at that moment I realised that I was the victim of an internet scam that must net millions every year for the owner of the site.
When I asked for a refund of all sums billed I received the reply that I had only an 8 week guarantee, strictly illegal of course, and that the company was happy to offer me one 47 USD reimbursement. I have since recontacted this charlatan and explained that unless he, or she, refunds all sums billed to my account, other than the initizl 3.95 USD, I will take legal procedings against him, or her, with an international mandate.
Thank you for any help you may be able to offer in this case.
Sincerely,
Graham Hewstone,

Hidden fees
I joined Home Survey Workers on line offer to answer surveys and get paid for it. The fee to join was $2.95. I gave them my credit card number and was sent several pages of surveys to answer.
To begin with, HWS did not send me information as to how I would be paid. Pay Pal or checks? I answered so many surveys that it became confusing. Still I did not receive any information as to getting paid for these surveys. I was only told that I could win prizes or earn as low as $1.00 for some surveys.
I decided to cancel. When I recieved my credit card bill I saw that HWS took out an additional $39.95 out of my account.
I phoned HWS several times and only got an automated voice telling me to leave my number and someone would return my call. They never did. I also emailed HWS several times and threatened to report them if my money was not refunded but my e-mails were never answered.
Obviously I have been conned. There are many complaints about this company, and they are taking advantage of the many people such as myself who are unemployed or disabled and need to earn money from home.
I am unemployed and cannot afford to have this fee on my credit to which I have not gained anything in return.

Hidden charges!
When I joined the site I was aware that I would be charged $2.95 to become a member, but my checking account was charged $39.95 seven days later. When I called to ask about the charge they pointed out to me that it is written several paragraphs below the introductory rate in small print. This is clearly meant to trick people. They are unwilling to refund my payment. The website is a scam altogether.

Scam charges!
I agreed to the $2.95 trial offer but then canceled my membership a few days later I noticed that my credit card had another debit of $39.95. I emailed them on numerous occasions and finally I received a response stating that they have canceled my membership and would refund my monies. Today my credit card has been credited $39.95, but another debit has been made of $11.00. I have emailed them but have had no response from them. That is when I ran a check on them on the internet and found your web site.
What these people are doing is totally illegal and fraudulent and I want to put a stop to these type of people.

Scam and cheating!
You pretty much know its a scam as soon as you get on their website, but they only charge 2.95 for it so i thought who cares, lets try it out... well they don't tell you nothing about their recurring 39.95 charge... i am waiting till tomorrow so i could contact them and get my money back... doubt their 100% money back guarantee is worth anything...
