I took several chairs to Holloways Upholstery to have them re upholstered. Pricing was different than what was verbally quoted. I asked for but never received an email outlining the cost per piece. Even so, I paid in full when my chairs came back to me. One of the chairs was not put back to gether correctly, and when we finally sat in the chair, the back fell off. Then we noticed that Holloways damaged the wood, splitting it, when they used too much force and the wrong sized screws. Holloways took the chair back to put different screws in but got fingerprints, dirt, what appears to be ink and pencil marks all over the chair. The request began quite simply enough. I asked them to clean the chair, repair the wood they damaged and if the newupholstery could not be cleaned then they should, at their expense, re-upholster the chair another time. They ignored me and would not respond until I had FIA cards VISA put the final balance I owed in dispute. Holloways fought for this money and somehow won. I just want everyone to understand that if you go to Holloways, you do so at your own risk.
