Unhappy with the respect and degree of unprofessional behavior this company has given me
I am so unhappy with the respect and degree of unprofessional behavior this company has given me. I shopped at the store out in Peoria, AZ the Arrowhead Towne Center one. The manager was belittling me and talked to me as if I was lying about a return. Then, when she realized she was wrong she denied me service. Not only that she had another manager with her who called me a lazy ass, that he needed to speak to me in elementary, that my degree as a masters student must not have been in communication or psychology. This all occurred because they would not return a skirt that I purchased for my 15 year old daughter. The previous employee who rang my order up scanned the Small size and not the medium skirt then gave me the other skirt. So, they thought i was lying to them and trying to return a skirt that was not mine. When I tried to explain they said they didn't care and that I should leave there store they refused to help me. It was an experience that I can't even fully explain. I am a shopper and I have worked retail all through college. I have never received such rude, behavior. EVER...I am not letting this one go. I will make a stink about this until someone from the co. calls me and explains to me either, thet they accept bipolar employees, or employees that treat their customers like they are lower then dirt. Unbelievable. I wish I would have been s secret shopper at this store...It was seriously embarrassing.

Worst customer service
WORST store ever. I purchased a pair of swimtrunks on 12/15/09 for the purpose of giving them as a christmas gift considering me and my boyfriend are going on vacation a week away from christmas, and the item was IN STOCK. i even got the order confirmation email and everything thanking me for my purchase and giving me an estimated arrival date. I tracked the order online and 12/21/09 and it said it was still processing and had not been shipped. i called the customer service line today and they informed me that the purchase never went through because their item is now out of stock even though when i ordered it, it was in stock. so now i have no christmas gift thanks to those a**holes. also they said there was absolutely nothing they could do for me and they were "sorry". never ordering/going to hollister again. they don't care a bit about their customers and they don't even notify you when your order isn't coming after all.

Wrong Item
You would think a company that prides itself on TRUE American clothing would have a staff to live up to those standards! NO! I placed an order 12/17 and it arrived today. To my surprise I received someone elses' order. So naturally I called customer service so I could get the correct information. Another SHOCK, rude customer rep. I had to deal with this meathead who called himself the 'supervisor' and told me that my complaint was sent over to the 'shipping department' for further review and I should receive a response in 3-5 business days. Clearly, on the order number on my printout did not match the order number on the wrong item that was sent to me. The rep told me it was out of his hands and that I could not talk to his manager because they did not receive calls. Another load of crock, because managers do take calls, he just wanted me off his line. So naturally, he hung up on me. I usually do not find myself upset, but when I ordered merchandise for over $200 and you sent me an item worth $39, yeah, something needs to be done fast. What happened to the good ole customer service? Back when people actually cared? I even told the rep after I called again, it seems they do not care if we get the correct item or not. So not only do I have to sit here and check my email every other day to see if they have emailed me, but I have to ruin a Christmas for a loved one. This experience made me realize this will be the last time I shop with such company. If they did not care, why should I even spend hard on money there?

False advertising
WOW I have never encountered such RUDE staff as I have at Holister in NY. They had items for sale and when I asked about a soze for my daughter I got 3 different reasons why they did not have those items for sale, even though they were on display - RUDE to me and treated me very inferior. I have spent MAJOR $$$$$ with them, and have a stable job have they not heard of the recession? Maybe they don't realize one of their sister stores is shutting down in January. With service like this Hollister wont be far behind.

Don't buy their clothes
I ordered 200 dollars worth of clothes at hollisterco.com and they ended up sending me 1 shirt that cost 20 dollars. Also i can't even find customer service number on the damn website.

Online service

I just received an exchange in the mail today from an order I placed 2/9/09. I find this caliber of service to be completely unacceptable. I contacted this support service on the status of the return twice and was never given any information aside from "we will process it when we receive it". I find it difficult to believe that the exchange took 5 months to reach the Hollister warehouse. Due to the inappropriately lengthy period of time that it took for me to receive the package, I was forced to shop elsewhere for the products I initially order from Hollister. I do not usually provide feedback for online orders, but I have never been so disappointed with an exchange. I have sent the products back and hope to receive my refund before December.

size
last year i was happy with there clothing and that they went to a size extra large..figuring they wouldnt because all of the girls in california are supose to be skinny preppy things..and pretty much anorexic sick looking..i was happy that they went to a x-large and they fit good..this year i went to get some hoodies..and they no longer carry that size..its ridiculous how they must feel that bigger girls shopping there looks bad for the company..im just disgusted with them

Awful everything
I ordered $145.45 worth of clothing from Hollister on August 20th. As of this date, October 13th, they have not arrived. According to US Post Office Tracking, the package has been sitting since August 22nd. Hollister does not care that I have not received it, since technically they did ship the items. However, they should care enough to call the Post Office from THEIR end as the shipper and get this order to me. The Post Office says Hollister uses the CHEAPEST method of ground shipping involving pallets, where hundreds of packages have the SAME tracking number. They sit until a truck is available. Every other package gets priority over this el cheapo method. By the way, the only live Post Office person I got was my local PO guy, when you call the 800 number for Track & Confirm a recording says I have to call the shipper!

So my hands are tied since Hollister doesn't care anymore, they already took my money. I wrote the Calif. headquarters, no response. For a $15.00 shipping charge they need to CHANGE their method. My items could have been stuffed into a $4.95 Priority package for a 2-day delivery. So I fault both Hollister and the Post Office on this situation, but as the shipper Hollister needs to get on the ball and ship like Amazon.com does, in 3 days for half the shipping charge on their items.

This is a big warning to anyone considering ordering from Hollister for the holidays. You would need to spend $25.00 for Air shipping if you want your items quickly. I won't be ordering from them again online, never!!
