HWS threatened to take away everything I own!
All these posted complaints describe what's happened to me. And in most cases PRECISELY. They've got a Mode of Operation down to a science and it works so well, they use it on their unsuspecting customers. In March 07 I paid for website design and monthly hosting charges (approximately $1300.00). Problem is I received NOTHING. Nor is it possible to receive what you paid for because you cannot get through the phone or email system in a reasonable length of time. It's now the end of January 08, ten months later, which is about 9 months past the HWS website due date. Long enough to make a baby! The only way I got through the system is to contact Brad Stone directly. After avoiding my phone calls and emails there was a the long delay but I did receive a reply which was obviously a canned responses written by an attorney. My complaints are recorded at the BBB website. I have written other consumer advocate agencies and filed my complaints. During my research I coincidently made contact with another ethnic woman in California who was ripped by by HWS. She contacted Channel 7 TV Station and got her money refunded with one phone call to HWS from Mr. Michael Finney of Channel 7 News. I recorded my case with Channel 7 news too and they are working on my behalf now. I was threatened by Brad Stone that he would sue me and take everything I own if I was to go public because I told him I made contact with the editor of the Provo Utah newspaper to write a story on virtual theft. Now my simple website request has taken on a new life due to HWS stall tactics, avoidance and written threats. I have been advise to continue with legal proceedings. Remember you cannot sign your rights away and you if you did not get your money back as request you probably have a legal case too. Together, all those that have been victimized by HWS can make a difference.
