Haltrex systems seem to have a modus operandi whereby they phone small businesses and lure them into trying their service. They deal in PC ink cartridges which turn out to be more expensive than most retailers will charge which also last for a very short time! The hitch comes in when they then deliver cartridges every few weeks, uninvited and not agreed to.

When I ask them to take them back they tell me that I have entered a contract and must first settle the 'back order' ??!! This story has repeated itself again and again with me cancelling the account and asking that they only deal with me, not my receptionist. They ignore my calls, never call me back and are unavailable when I call them. They say I cannot cancel the 'back order' and need a reference number to do so. If I don't have the reference number I can't cancel. They don't give me a ref number as I still have outstanding 'back orders'!!

In addition they call my receptionist and threaten to blacklist us and put lawyers onto us. I had one conversation with JP who also threatened me. He shouts into the phone not giving me time to speak and rattles off 'explanations' which I cannot understand. I am reporting them to DTI.
