I was given a Fandango debit card for $15 for holiday 2007. When I went to use it I needed to add another $2 on my credit card to pay for the movie passes. Somehow that got me on a list wheregy Great Fun charged 11.99 every month for tow years before I started to check on it. When I first called the voice mail said nothing about who they were. Just te hours of operation. Thye aid I had "authorized" a credit of $15.00 on March 9, 2008 which gave me memebership into this Gret Fun membership buying service. I have never fallen into a trap like this in he past. I never intended to sign up. It is a scam through and through. Legal perhaps but very insidious. I am sure if someone researched this company, this is how they make most of their money.

After purchasing merchandise from Harriet Carter a screen appeared offering $20 off on next purchase. I clicked the screen only to find several different options to join this or that. I clicked off. Great fun has been charging my credit card for the last year for 12.99 a month. I did not order this service and even called a month later to cancel. My mistake was not checking my credit card statement. The amount to-date is 155.88. I called today and finally they cancelled. Great Fun did not have my permission to sign me up or charge my card for this order. Clare

I have received multiple illegal charges to my credit card in the amount of $14.99 each month being paid to "TLG Great Fun " for the past several months that have not been authorized. This has happened before and the only way that I could stop it was to cancel my credit card. Is that what I am going to be forced to do again. If this is the case then I am definitely becoming wary of credit cards. what

Great fun charged $11.99 to my credit card for four months in a row!! Fortunately, I got their phone number, called them, gave them a piece of my mind about their unethical busisness practices and they were 'willing' to take 2 of the charges off...but Im not done with my fight. Still plan to call their corp office to make a complaint as well as the BBB.
