Unauthorized charges!
I ordered several items off the internet around Christmas. When I checked my credit card bill I assumed it was something that I had purchased. I just realized that my card has been charged at least 4 times. I called the Great Fitness who basically said it was an agreement I made when I ordered from CustomDirect. I have never ordered from them. Great Fitness will not refund my money but did offer to give me vouchers that I could mail in with receipts of new purchases I made. $10. for 4 different purchases. Not acceptable. This is such a scam.

Unautorized Charged my account
Great Fun unauthorized charged my account 3 times by $11.99. I called them at 800-290-8603 and demanded to return my money. The rep confirmed my complain but instead of returning my money they mailed me a check for $9.25. By sighning this check I would enrol in their membership. This is a fraud practice.

Unexplained credit card charge!
I just opened up my credit card statement and there was a charge for $11.99 to a company out of CT called Great Fun. I've never heard of them and never ordered from them, so I looked them up online. Apparently, they've done this to a lot of people, and what's even more scary is that I have no idea how they've gotten my credit card #. Isn't this a crime of some sort? After all, they are STEALING from countless people...

membership
I received a card telling me that my membership was about to expire and that if I didn't call to decline a $99.99 charge would go on my account which I had set up. I have never heard of Great Fun and never authorized membership nor set up an account. I was told by them that I had sent an approval of member ship by mail , which i DID NOT. I asked them what credit card account they were using and was told it was my VIA ending in
878I, I have no such account. I asked that this be canceled immediately and was given a cancelation number. I have registed in a credit check program and will be checking all charged carefully and look for an account that may have been set up without my knowledge.

Unauthorized charges
As a Quicken user, I recognized this bogus charge on its second appearance. It appeared on my charged card as TLG*GREATFN55506578AUG. Google search revealed a vast number of complaints against this company. I called mastercard and they immediately recognized the scam. They advised me to call 1-800-290-8603, Great Fun's office number, and protest the charges as unauthorized. Mastercard's security said that I should have no trouble getting the credits issued for the two months activity. TLG stands for Trilegiant and their strategy appears to be to piggyback transparently onto some other purchase and then assess a small enough monthly fee that a busy person won't notice the unauthorized charge! Despicable.
I am grateful to this site for helping me instantly recognize the scam as a scam.

Fraud and cheating!
I have been paying $11.00 a month for this "membership" and was sent a membership card, but I cannot access this site. I was told I'd receive a gas card when I joined, but I have never received one. We are going to be traveling and I was trying to locate some discounts for restaurants, but when I pull up GreatFun.com all I am able to get to is a solicitation to join for $9.99 a month with a $20.00 card for a meal. I imagine the meal card is much like the non-existent gas card I received!!

Trying to steal money from my Visa
We were charged $79.99 on a recent Visa bill, from “Great Fun”. I found Great Fun on the web, called and canceled what they called a “new membership” in their travel club. I called Visa and complained about the charge. They canceled the payment, and told me that I have to be careful in certain websites, that I don’t inadvertently sign up for a club like this by NOT unchecking a box where I am agreeing to join.
I checked my records, and noticed that I signed up for this club the same day I purchased something from Amazon. Can they legally do this?
