Unautorized charges to my credit card
On April 26, 2010, I filled out the info for a 2.99 charge to my credit card to find a grant for Smart Boards for my elementary school. I never found what I wanted and chalked it up as no great loss. I never thought to check my bank statements for any thing more, til I noticed a charge on March 16, 2011 that I didn't recongnize for $58.07. I called my credit union and they told me to call the number on the statement. On that day, I realized I had been charged EVERY month since I authorized the $2.99 charge. I was very upset and the lady that day told me she would immediately stop the monthly charges. I asked her what about the 11 months I was charged for a service I never used. She finally told me she would take 2 months charges off the card. I have waited til May 15th and the 2 months charges are still not taken off. Today, the lady told me there was a problem with my card and they can't get them taken off. I told her she had to be kidding. You mean, you can take out the charge for 11 months and when you find out I did not order that service there is something wrong wth my card! I asked to talk to her supervisor and they left me on hold for 25 minutes. I had an 11;00 appt. So I called on another line and the lady finally gave me this site to contact. After this much trouble I am no longer happy with 2 months refund. I want the whole 11 months refund for a service I did not order and did not use. If this is not resolved by June 1st, I will forward this letter to the Better Business Bureau. In view or what I am seeing on this site, I am sure this business has a hidden agenda of tricking people into charges they are not authorizing.
