				Scammers

I talked with two people from this company after my husbands account was debited 68.13. An employee, Peter G. said my seven year old son ordered their services. I have now written my attorney general and feel everyone should do the same. Some people work hard for their money and I for one am tired of these non-working scammers ruining America.

$2.95 Charge was really a $60.13 per month subscription

I found the Grant Research Guide by an ad on Facebook. They offered
access to their informational site for $2.95. This sounded like a
good chance to get the tutorial and contact information they were
offering. So I signed up and paid the $2.95 and got my login for the
Grant Research Guide website.

Once I logged into the site I found the information to be very slim
and mostly freely available list of grants. I logged off for the
night and was going to explore the site further the next day.

I checked my online banking the next day and found multiple charges
from Grant Research Guide titled "YourUSAGrant" one for the $2.95
which I expected and one for $12.95 that was not. I contacted my bank
and disputed the $12.95 charge.

I called the service number listed above and was placed on infinite
hold for about 30 minutes before I gave up.

I checked my online banking a few days later and found another change
from Grant Research Guide for $60.13. I again disputed this charge
with my bank. This time the bank gave me a phone number other than
the customer service number listed with this company where I was able
to get a hold of a human. That number is 877-247-3935 I spoke with a
representative who was able to cancel my membership (the $60.13
monthly charge) but would not refund the first charge. After sharing
a few choice and exited words with him I asked to speak to his
supervisor, he told me that neither he nor his supervisor can refund
charges. He then put me on hold for a few seconds and came back to
say his supervisor is "in a meeting so there is no one managing the
floor right now". He then told me that he was "authorized to help me
in any way I needed" I then told him to refund my charges. He again
told me that he could not do it. We exchanged a few more niceties
where he finally told me that you don't need to speak to me like that
and we ended our conversation.

Before I called them up I revisited the site and found BURIED at the
bottom of their page a "Terms and Conditions" link. I gave that a
click and read what I had apparently agreed to by clicking "Buy Now"
for $2.95 was really a monthly membership for $60.13 a month.
Meanwhile NOWHERE on the actual order page was this information
shared.

This company is both a scam and lousy source of information.

It also appears that MANY sites are using this buried "Terms and
Conditions" link method to hook people into paying for things that are
not clearly explained on purchase pages.

Please beware and don't git ripped off by Grant Research Guide or
YourUSAGrant or GrantAccessClub or what ever name they are using this
week.

				illegal charge on my account

There was an unauthorized charge on my account. I couldn't trace the email back to the company, but got the phone number and called. I tried to get them to credit my account for their mistake. I spoke with Pete Swanson and he gave me an ID 256895. There was no statement saying that it was a 7 day trial and that I would be billed if I didn't cancel. I asked him if I could speak to his supervisor and he said he was authorized to do this transaction. I told him that I was gonig to dispute this charge with my credit card company and report him to an agency such as yours. I was charged $58.61 on February 16, 2009.

				unauthorized bank debit

I had asked person(Whitney) for credit which was unauthorized of $58.61. It was to be for info. @ $1.99 only. They gave me a ticket ID # and told me to email Attn: Janet for a refund. I did not receive a e-mail back or a credit. But they certainly took my money from my account. Now, I have to contact the bank and report this action which was taken from my account. This is a scam!!! Do not access this website!!!. I'm going to report it to another internet police agency.

				Unauthorized charges

I was online for Go. grants, information on how and what grants to aply for, and this one was one of the ones that were available. It said you could send 6.98 for a CD or 1.97 and go direct to the website. I of course took the less expensive way out for 1.97 thru automatic debit and went on thru it, and when I got a confirmation email for my order, it asked if I wanted to continue my membership and I told them 'NO', and I got a confirmation for my cancellation. A couple of weeks later, I received a statement from my bank saying my account was overdrawn, and unfortunately they had already paid out. So now I owe my bank for 98.13!! I haven't been able to find a phone number but did keep the email that confirmed it was canceled and have replied to it stating what has happened and that I want my money back! I called the number that someone had listed in one of the other complaints in regards to the same scam, 866-470-6898 and told them the charges were not authorized and I wanted my money back or they could deal with my banks lawyers, because there were other complaints for the same type of dealings on Ripoff Reports...they told me it would be refunded in my account in 3 to 5 days!! We will see what happens!!

				Unauthorized billing

Grant Research Guide promised me info on grants for women starting their own businesses. While there was information listed, it was too confusing to do anything with. I spent $49.50 on this 'guide' and a grant writer friend didn't even know what to do with the information - SCAM.

Furthermore, Grant Research Guide SOLD my debit card information to Grant For You Today - and they snuck a debit charge in for $49.50 FIVE months after I actually paid for the first lousy product.

My bad on trusting the first one, but shame on them for selling my info and charging me unknowingly. Thankfully Chase disputed the charge and is refunding me the money. But, I had to get a new debit card and reset all of my other auto-pay accounts because of these scoundrels.

People like this make me sick, and I hope these worthless wastes of space get caught and someday all of the unknowing victims get their money back.

				Fraudulent Credit Card Charges

I am asking for a refund of $2.01 taken from my account on Feb. 9, 2009 and of $68.13 taken from my account on Feb. 12, 2009. I did not authorize these withdrawls and consider this to be fraud as does my bank. Apparently, I am not the only person with this complaint. I am sure the Better Business Bureau would be willing to take action if necessary. I am a financially solvent person and capable of paying for my own education and have absolutlely no need of a grant. Never even considered trying to get one. Your immediate attention and action is expected and appreciated.
