Scammed for over $200
Scammed three ways.
In July after I agreed to pay S&H of $2.29 for a FREE Grant Master CD, I received an e-mail confirmation: "Grant Master Software CD. Just $1.29 Shipping. $1.00 Processing." I opened the Grant Master site once and found it worthless. The CD is PC only and will not install on my Mac computer. Okay. I'm only out $2.29, right?
Wrong! I just discovered 4 months of charges to my account: 39.95 for Grant Master membership; 7.95 for Express Business Funding membership and 9.95 for Network Agenda Membership. I called 800-546-2919 today and was told that I failed to cancel my Grant Master membership within 7 days of sending for the CD. I told them to cancel it immediately. They said they would also cancel the "companion" memberships - Express BF & Network Agenda I had no idea what these were. Supposedly they were in the fine print after I submitted the initial payment for the CD S&H.
I did not knowingly authorize any of these charges. I did not use any services and received no benefit whatsoever, and I'm now out $231. I'm told they will refund this month's charges. Buyer beware!

unauthorized payments
THIS COMPANY ADVERTISED: GET YOUR FREE CD TO FIND GOVREMENT GRANTS ALL YOU PAY FOR IS SHIPING ! LIE!!!LIE!! I PAIED $3.95 FOR SHIPPING. BUT YOU WONT STOP CHARGING MY ACCT $39.95 X3MOS ..HOW CAN I GET THEM TO STOP!!! AN PAY ME BACK? THAY ARE A THIEF !!! IWANT THIS TO STOP. DO I HAVE TO GET A LAWYER AN GO TO COURT??

Unauthorized charges
I took a free CD offer from Grant Master and paid the shipping charges with my debit card. Now my account has been billed for unauthorized charges by several companies Grantsearch $39.95, NWKAG.com 2 @$9.95, Businessfund 800 $17.15, Everydaylegal 2 @ $9.95. These unauthorized charges $96.90, all began with the free CD from Grantmaster.com. I would like these charges stopped immediately and credited back to my debit card.

Scam - bank account charges
I ordered the CD about government grants and was told I would be charged $2.29 for the shipping. I was not told there would be a monthly charge of $39.95 and $7.95 for the membership. I called the 800 number listed on my bank statement and was told I agreeded to this membership. I did not agree to anything of the sort. I do not appreciate being scammed and money taken from my bank account without my authorization. I will file a complaint with whoever I can to dispute this process. Please call me on my work phone and let me know that you have resolved this and redeposited the total amount of $95.80 back into my account.

made unauthorized charges to my bank account.
Grant master charged my account $1.97 shipping for a cd rom about their program. A week later I was charged 39.95 monthly fee. I called the customer support and told them that I wanted the charges taken off my account. She had the nerve to tell me that I had agreed to the charges! that they gave me a 7 day free trial. Even though it would take 10 to14 business days to even recieve the CD(I was like is this for real? is this woman even listining to herself speak). So I asked her if the company records their sales calls. she siad yes. so I told her I wanted to hear the phone call where I would agree to a free 7 day trial that I wouldn't be able to use because the cd would take 10-14 days to get. ( Aparently she thought she was talking to an idiot. ) She changed her tune after that and told me that she would refund my account and cancel my membership. (a membership I never Agreed to in the first place) but it could take up to 30 days to refund. These People should be put out of business. They should have to go to jail. they are no better than a purse thief off the streets.

They don't tell you everything
Don't buy into this! I thought I was simply paying for shipping of a free CD on how to apply for and recieve Gov't Grants, guarenteed. Since it came with a money back guarentee I decided to procede. I ordered this a month ago. The CD never came and I noticed this morning there was a charge on my credit card for $39.95 today! I called two weeks ago to inform them that I never receive the CD, they needed to credit me the $9.95 shipping charge that was suppose to be $4.95 and to cancel the order. She said it was done and I saw the refund of $9.95 the next day. Well today they charged my account $39.95 and boy was I upset! I immediately called back and asked to speak to a Manager. I was transfered to one and I told her to explain to me why when I canceled the order two weeks ago I was charge today for $39.95. Well apparently when you give them your credit card info they automatically enroll you in two other services they don't tell you about. So her explanation was, yes she did cancel one of the offers but there are two other offers that you're still paying for!! WHAT THE!! I told her (WHILE YELLING) that this is a horrible way to do business and they have no business ripping people off like this. She had the nerve to offer to send me the CD I never received free of charge (yeah, right). She told me she would issue me a refund of the $39.95 charge to my account today as well as the $39.95 charge made to my account on the 10th (this went unoticed) and a $7.95 charge made to my account of the 7th (this went unoticed too). These charges were for the three opportunities the opted me into without my permission. We'll see if they come through.
People, don't fall for this one. I can't beleive there are people out there who have not one once of guilt when doing this to others. It's sickening.

Charged $39.95 for software that was suppose to be free, with a $2.99 processing fee.
Software to help locate grants, from Grant Master. Told was free with a $2.99 processing fee, Was charged $39.95 on my account.

unauthorized charge
I too ordred just the cd and was debited $2.29 10/1. Then was debited $39.95 0n 10/9. I did not authorize this. I called Grant Master customer service this am 10/20 and was told the $39.95 would be cancelled in 3-5 business days. I rec'd a confirmation number and we will see what happens. thanks, Charlie
