Unathorized debit from account
Funds that were NOT authorized have been debited from my checking account. I find it absolutely insane that there are companies, people out there committing these kind of scams against people with the state the economy is in; praying on vulnerable people, who are struggling financially to make ends meet and are looking for a legal way to make more money. When I signed up there was nothing indicated that these additional funds would be debited, only an initial fee, which was no more then $2.00 was supposed to be debited for the cost of the starter kit. How do I even begin to retrieve the funds that were illegally taken from my account?

unauthorized charges
I only authorized the promotional charge of 1.97 for the google cd kit but it did not say there that after 7 days they will charge 72.21, I came to know about it when Iam checking my bank statement on line and I called them the next day and this lady that I talked to told me they will cancel and gave me a cancellation reference no. but when I check again my bank statement they still took the 72.21 on my bank account. I want a refund and will try to contact them this monday to refund me the money...if not this another form of scam and misleading information on people. Good luck to me this monday...jocelyn canamaso

I found charges of 72.21, not once but twice within 28 days from a "Google Treasure Chest" which I didnt recognize what it was, when i typed it in to search as to what it was, it took me to a website for some sort of business opportunity. Said you could get an info package for 1.88. But nothing about possible charges of 72.21. I am calling the companys 888-705-1275 number for a full refund and to stop any future unauthorized charges. I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Beware anything for Google Money Tree. numerous complaints prove this is nothing more than a scam.

SCAMMERS!!!
I signed up for the Google Treasure Chest account and paid a small fee through my VISA. Upon checking the site and account they gave me for information I noticed the site had nothing posted except my user name and info...no information what-so-ever about how this Treasure Chest works.
I tried all support emails they gave and go mailer deamons saying the emails did not exist. I know I am being scammed now because things are just too fishy. Every email address they gave does not work and I have not recieved any other information about some kit that I was supposed to have recieved by now to start making this so called 5000 bucks a month.
I have contacted my credit card company and already cut up my card...I waiting for a new one to come in but I still have to keep and eye on my accounts. The lady on the phone said that most site scammers will drain your account within the first 24 hours so I have an alert call already put in to ensure my account is being monitored for any weird transactions and I am to be notified. What an idiot I am for falling for their scam. Watch out everyone...here is the site: http://www.googletreasurechest.com

Scam-unwanted charges
We also signed up for Google Treasure Chest before checking it out, and were angry at ourselves for being so stupid. We knew we'd been had by another "too good to be true" internet scam.
BUT - for all of you who have so far been burned by this bad company, I called this number: 866.951.1406 to cancel, and was apparently able to do so. If you can cancel before any charges (after the initial $1.95 or $2.95) are made, you stand a better chance of avoiding all this auto-ship BS.
BEWARE also, just after I called to cancel, I got two calls from "Google Money Tree" wanting to confirm our "order" - which is where they start socking it to you with stuff you don't want.
Just say no to everything, don't give any other credit card or address information to these people, and get your account cancelled ASAP.
866.951.1406 THAT'S THE NUMBER TO CALL.
The other thing you can do, if you've already been charged $72 is to contact your credit card company and initiate a charge back on everything you've been charged. It will take some time, and you have to send the stuff back that you received, with proof that you sent it back. It's a hassle, but count it a lesson learned, and never trust one of these things again.
We were fooled because we are so hard up for money right now, it blinded us . Always check things out on sites like this one.

Hi, the same thing happened to me, they charged my bank account $72.21 without my authorization. I did get thru to the number and the man was very rude, i called back and the girl helping me was very nice. You need to send the cd back to this address 405 East 12450 South,
Suite I, Draper Utah 84020 Make sure to put Suite I and not Suite G as they said that was a misprint and they are changing it, as I noticed it also and called to reconfirm the correct address. Also put the Return Goods Authorization number that the person should give you when you call 1-866-951-1406. In the letter tell them you do not want their subscription and if it is within the 30 days you are fine, if it is passed call them and tell them to cancel this. When you send the cd back to them, make sure to get a delivery confirmation receipt from the Post Office that you can look up online and see when it arrived there, wait 2 - 3 days to see that the money went back into your account, if not phone them again. I would also contact the BBB in Utah and make a complaint, I have. I phoned this Google Treasure Chest company today and will be mailing their cd back tomorrow for my refund, I can only wait and see that they follow through. Thanks for reading this, Louise

I was charged 72.21 just like the others who complained. I am not sure why...I was charged 1 and some change for a cd that I never received, this is definitely a scam.

Unauthorized Charges
I authorized a charge of $1.97 for shipping & handling for a start up package to work from home posting ads on Google. All I received was a disk and on the same day my bank card was charged $72.21 that I did not authorize. I called the customer service number for refunds listed on my bank account and was told there was a 7 day trial period & it expired today so I wasn't entitled to a refund. Customer Support would not disclose the name of their company only stating the they were support customer service for a third party.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Utah, you can do this online.
I cancelled my bank card & will be filing a fraudulent claim when the charge posts to my account. I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IN UTAH TO TRY & STOP THIS COMPANY BEFORE THEY SCAM MORE PEOPLE.
