I got a offer to work from home and it was suppose to be a CD sent to me for only $1.97. I used my credit card in order to get this CD. A few weeks went by and I recieved nothing and got ready to make a payment on my credit card and discovered money missing from my card. They charged me $72.21 for something I don't know anything about. I call my credit company and they told me that it was Google Treasure Chest who was taking money from my visa card. I tried calling them and all I get is our offices are now closed. I can't reach them now.

I will tell you that I also was scammed out of $72.21 for a CD that was suppose to cost me $1.47. I phoned the customer service number and after many threats of action and remining them that they were under state and federal investigation, they refunded my money and cancelled my so called subscription.

i ordered the cd next i know my account was deducted 72.21 i called the number spoke to customer service rep. canceled the account that same day then a few days later someone called back asking how i liked the cd i told the rep that i never recieved it and that i called the day i ordered it and canceled he said no one noted or closed the account so he did gave me a confirmation number and said i would be refunded in 3-5 buisness days its been 8 days and no refund the number no longer accepts calls and im afraid that i will continue to have that amount deducted and there is no way i can contact anyone to speak to them about whats going on

While enjoying my Facebook page I clicked on a story link about a Mom who made $5, 000.00 in one month. It turned out to be a link about working at home. The site offered a FREE CD, requiring that I pay ONLY shipping and handling of $1.97 for the CD.
I received the CD and it held nothing of value so I forgot about it. Then my checking account is overdrawn because of $72.21 from an unknown source. I tried to dispute it then and there but my bank refused to because it hadn't posted yet. Well it did post and my money was gone. Gone too was the ten-day free trial period that I knew nothing about. I finally get a number to reach the merchant and find out that by clicking "I agree" I committed to a monthly charge of $72.21 from my checking account. I have cancelled the "membership" of which I received no benefits whatsoever, but I am out my money plus all the overdraft charges incurred. Beware of anything Google!

I ordered the Google Treasure Chest CD just out of curiosity and since it was only 1.97 to order it, I didn't think it was a big deal. Got the CD, have yet to put it in, but today noticed an unauthorized charge for $72.21 on my bank account from this company. I called the # provided on the package that the CD came in 866-951-1406, was not on hold for more than 5 minutes. Talked with an associate and told him my situation and asked what the charge was for. He said it's a membership fee that is charged 10 days after you receive the CD, I was completely unaware of this. I told him I want to cancel and get my money back and he provided me with a cancellation # as well as an RGA # (return goods authorization). He told me that I need to write a note with my wish to cancel and provide these two numbers and mail it with the CD back to the company and once it is received, my money will be refunded...we will see. He said it needs to be mailed back within 10 days. My suggestion to anyone else with this issue is to call the 866 # I provided and cancel everything with them. They will provide you with a cancellation # and an RGA # and also the address to send it back to. I feel like a complete idiot for even trying this...lesson learned for sure...just hope nothing else happens!
