I was prompted to a screen which asked for $3.97 for shipping. I entered my credit card information. Yesterday, I received what I believe is my free sample. However, I received two bottles of the product. On the billing statement, it shows that I have been charged $3.97 for shipping. However, in small print below the shipping charge it says 'THIS AMOUNT HAS BEEN CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. $79.90 WILL BE BILLED TO YOUR CARD TO COMPLETE PAYMENT ON APRIL 17, 2009'. I did not authorize any additional charge above the $3.97 shipping for the Free Sample. Please advise immediately how I can rectify this without any additional cost to me. I did not order a second bottle and will not incur any cost in returning a product you sent but I did not order. Please cancel any VIP Club order you may have erroneously placed for me. I believe you are practicing deceitful business practices and will forward this email to KRON4 News and my representative in congress. Again, please advise immediately how I can rectify this without any additional cost to me.

21-Day Free Trial is a scam.
Yes, I did receive my two bottles of Acai Berry Edge.
However, they make it nearly impossible for you to contact them to cancel. And, when I finally did an on-line chat on Feb. 4, 2009, to cancel I was never provided with the information that they require you to have in order to return the product to them.

Now, their "Legal Dept." sent me a letter ordering me to pay them $79.95 within 15 days to avoid collections and a negative mark on my credit report.

When I contacted GNS today they offered to "settle" with me for $39.95 and were nothing short of rude during my entire telephone conversation with them. I offered to return the product but, they still refused to give me a return authorization number as they said it is still too late.

Unauthorized charges were withdrawn from my account without my knowledge and never once was that stated in the original terms and agreement. They claim it was in the original terms and agreement and that is not true because I read the terms and agreement and that was never stated. Now I can't seem to find their website with that information, isn't that funny. This is the biggest scam I have ever seen and reccomend never purchasing this or any other product from this company. I don't even know how they can call themselves a company because of the bad business and unfair practices that have occured to me and many other people. This will not be over until I get a refund in full and something needs to happen about this scam so that this doesn't happen to others.

I went online and ordered the Acai Berry Product as advertised by Oprah. I used my mother's credit card. After speaking with her, I found out that others had done likewise and were billed again and again for orders they had not placed. One victim had to actually stop payment on her credit card and initiate a new credit card.

Early on I emailed the company and requested that they stop the order. Days later I still received the packages. The label stated that refused packages would not be accepted. I am putting the packages in a brown box and returning them. I am waiting for amount to be removed from my mother's credit card.

I ordered the Acai Berry Edge online after reading the NOT SO TRUE internet add luring victims into their scam.

The add said you would get a Risk-FREE 21-day trial of the product (two bottles) from the date of purchase. All you would have to pay is $3.97 for shipping and handling. Risk-FREE??? I THINK NOT!!! I placed my order online on the 12th of January. They didn't ship my bottle until January 26th (post mark) . This did not give me time to test the product. When I tried to call the numbers provided: (800)595-4670 or (303)456-5591, I could never get through to anyone. I became skeptical and had a sinking feeling I had been scammed. The numbers would always say:"You have 35 people ahead of you". If this was true, it probably was because there were 35 people calling to complain!!! I continued to call these numbers every day and for several hours, and could never get through. I later found out that on the 21st day after placing my order, GNS charged my account $79.00 and sent me an email that my consequent orders were going to be delivered to me if I didn't stop the "auto-order" program. In order to stop the "auto-program" membership, I would have to email them at slimbodycoach.com or call them at the numbers provided. I sent them many emails and got no response. I called the numbers and could not get through. I then decided to return the two bottles I received, but once again, on the return label it said to call and get a "Return Authorization (RA) Number" that I would need to place on the return envelope, otherwise my 100% refund would not be processed. Guess what?!!! I couldn't get through the number. This is a total scam and a very sneaky way to do business. CONSUMERS BE AWARE !!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

I intend to prosecute them to the furthest extent of the law. I think a Class Action Law Suit is in order because I know there are other people out there that have been victimized by GNS.
