One year ago Gm sent a new "Rewards" Master Card which I did not activated since my old card was good until 2009. My old card still works to this day and I have been get statements including any additional rewards I have accumulated. The new card had many restriction when purchasing a new GM vehicle. In a nut shell, they had the right to decide how much of my earnings would be applied to a given vehicle. When I tried to purchase a new vehicle and apply my rewards money to the purchase, I was informed that only half the total amount would be applied to the purchase and there was nothing they could do. In other words, they implemented the new restrictions on my old card. This was done without activation or a signature of any kind. When I contacted the office, I was given no recourse other than to mail a letter which I did. This was two months ago and I have not heard a thing.
