My family has 'had' to use Global Tele Link because we are held hostage since they are the ONLY CARRIER USED for Correctional Facilities. How convenient for them! We have to pay almost $6 for every 15 minute phone call... and for every $50 we pay, Global automatically takes $10 of it. Then if thats not bad enough, just try to call them... what a joke. As I read many many other complaints, I too have been hung up on sooo many times..and they say they cant call out... again how convenient for them! Then when you do get a person (try not to have a heartattack :-) they put you on hold FOREVERRR. Then just when you think they're going to say they have solved your issue...oh no... no no... you have to call another department (even though they're the same company). One thing I know they really like to do is credit the wrong account... oh yeah... then just try to get them to fix it... ha ha... boy its enough to make someone just rip their phone from the wall. I'm not stopping here... I am going to write our Governor because the price alone is just ludicrous and whose the criminal here... the person calling us or the person taking our money for the calls?? Think about it. Very unhappy with Global Tele Link!!
