BAD design, no info sent out
Bought profile GE Counter depth refrig Model PFCS1NJX, about 18 month ago. In June 2010, cooling erratic. called service dept after checking on line and booklet, > Service man came ( $178), . said walking in door probably thermostat blocked. bad design unavoidable to not block if shelf is full. new design has large cage allowing air flow around thermostat. Contacted GE . GE called with fictitious return number

Rebate Program
GE offers a rebate via a "visa" card. Every tried to redeem it? Almost impossible. After having it rejected by several business, I called to get a PIN to use it as an ATM card. 5 phone call later, I still am unable to withdraw my money. Plus, between the GE fee and the bank fee, it will cost me $4.50 every transaction - and GE won't let you withdrawn all at one time. So here I am, still waiting on hold, because the AMT won't take the card for the amount - even though it is $11 less than the balance. This is a scam, you never really get your full refund. Shame on GE - next time I'll buy a different brand

Dishwasher
I bought an Audora Dishwasher from Home Depot for about 500 dollars. it doesn't clean dishes or dry them . I have had the unit checked and they say it is fine just a design problem . I can not return the unit and Ge will not stand behind there product . It seems to me this was manufactured to sell to home depot at a certain price regardless if it could preform its function.

Unknown person asked for
Ge (or someone from India) calls 10-15 times per day asking for "Kay Fleming". We have no knowledge of such a person and have had this phone number since October 2009. We have called twice and each time were assured the calls would stop in 24 hrs but the continue. Our last complaint was Monday July 5th and as of this morning we have had another 31 calls. We don't answer the phone, just let it go to VM but it's still annoying. How can we get them to stop?

Refrigerator/ Service
Almost too much to detail. Bought a Profile refrigerator about 5 years agoo. Had multiple problems. Terrible rumbling noise that was intermittant. Service came out three times for $100+ each time to no avail. Finally oredered a new part that was a change and noise stopped. Then the cooling was affected. We had two instances of frozen food runined by high tewmperatures. We again had service where the service person defrosted the frost free refrigerator and it worked for awhile. We finally bought a freezer for the garage because we did not trust the one we had paid $2200 for. After this service call we talked with GE and that in itself was a problem. After starting discussions we lost phone contact three times and had to go back into the phone tree all over again. i probably spent 7 hours trying to get some help. The person wanted me to again call for service, at our expense, before she would commit to anything. I did not want to spend any more money on this dead fish. They kept saying why didn't you buy an extended warranty? Should you not expect an appliance to last more than a few years without repeated service calls? and Hundreds of dollars. they finally gave us a "deal" on a trade in. The deal was not anywhere near what it should have been and I am through will GE forever. Jack Welsh had best sell all his stock because this company is in deep trouble.

dishes ruined!
i recently moved into my new home in a suburb, where a dishwasher made by ge was preinstalled. the dishwasher has ruined many of my glasses, dishes, and silverware( very expensive!) by coating them with a white stain, and leaving them feeling like they were scratched! not pleased at all! only 4 of my 40 glasses are untouched, will never purchase a ge appliance in my life! warning everyone else not to as well! i would hate to see all your money go down the drain. ge had better refund me for my expensive glasses and silverware.

service
I bought all new Ge junk Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher, microwave, 3 out of four are broken. The service guys have been here 3 or 4 times.There web page sends you in a loop when you try to send a email? Who is
doing there web pages somebody Kids? My new stuff is breaking down and
it is not even 4 months old. My old stove {chambers} was 60 years old
and never broke. There repair guys have been here 3 or 4 times and the stove is still
broke now fridge is acting up {can not set temp. frost and ice in
fridge} and dishwasher don't clean food off the spoons and forks
always. I took off from work the last 3 or 4 times to have these guys
come break more than they fixed {stove had defect in finish new guy
[one training other on how to break my stove ] crosstreaded screw in
burner on first visit [never said anything we found it after he left
with burner not working till they came back and broke more stuff] then
broke one off in other burner and stove top they sent out was worst
than one they were to replace} now I want someone to come when I don't
have to take off work or sit around all day saturday. I think this is
not asking to much considering how much I paid for this junk? How
about some good will from GE to me? How about someone over there
caring enough to call me back and work with me. Well I called them and they said TUFF so maybe I should start a
negative.Blog maybe? Will the squeeky wheel get some grease or is it
just Corp. Amercia @ it's worst?This why these guys are going broke.
Help me help them ! If they would get someone to come over around 4pm and be there at
4pm. I mean they are only here for like 10 min. These guys are killing
me here . I went to bat with my wife to buy this stuff. These guys should give me a
break PLEASE!!! Thank you, Jeffery Gerding GE costumer wanting what he
paid for .
P.S. you can not enter a valid phone number with there site, it will only
take 3 than 2 than 4 numbers { u know 3#, than 3# then 4#}There site is
so bad. Did anybody ever try it? It took my cell number but will not
take a alt. number or a fax #???Come on guys how are we going to beat
those guys over there in Asia if your site is like your appliances and
don't work?

tub shaft
I bought this washing machine about 6 months ago and had problems with it from day 1. I had a noise when washing tub was agitating but I thought it was loaded unevenly or too full but it was then obvious it was none of those things. The noise was a grinding sound and now after 6 months the tub assembly doesn't agitate at all. I would never recommend this machine to anyone and it's a disgrace that after 6 months there is already a problem that numerous other people have experienced so it is obviously a flaw in this product. Keep up the good work G.E. this is the last time I will waste my money on something you've made.

GE Profile Washer
The GE Profile Washers are the worst. I bought a new washer 3 monhths back and right now it is unbalanced and make a lot of noise viabrating violently due to being unbalanced. I'm so disappointed with it I know I'll never buy a GE product again. I'm not sure if I should get some one to fix it or just get another brandname that works. Ay comments or suggestions welcome.

me and my wife have never been late on "any" of our bills yes we have a lot of debt because we have to small
business and we rely on lines of credit and credit cards. but we pay them on time and more than is due.
but just yesterday GE shut down our line of credit and still want us to pay them. and they never sent us a notice or anything.
and we have never paid them late like I said, and getting someone on the phone, is the same old crap.
and chase shut down 2 of our cards and we still have to pay them plus citi bank did the same thing. and we never paid anybody
late or nothing. I'm so angry hurt you name it. small business depend on lines of credit and credit cards.can you pleaseeeeeee help us
tell me what I can do.. please. thank you
