Non delivery
Flower order was placed June 1st for delivery on June 6th, which did not happen. I called thier customer service dept. and was assured that the flowers would be delivered the next day and I would get a phone call from them to vrify that was done. No flowers where delivered and I recieved no phone call. The same situation occured the next day and the next dayand the next day and the next day.Today, 6 days later the flowers have still not been delivered.

Terrible service
Do not ever do business with this company. EVER EVER!!! "Same Day Delivery" means nothing at all to them. I am in Los Angeles, not the boondocks, and these clowns have been unable to execute a "Same Day Delivery" from two days ago, and have no idea where the plant is. And their pompous phone reps are no help at all. This plant was for a friend whose father died - now if it ever shows up it will be so late that it will hurt my friend even more.

Not what I ordered
We ordered flowers from FTD.com for my friend's father's funeral. We ordered a beautiful standing bouquet with white flowers and greenery in the amount of $254.99. The flowers that were delivered were 1/4 the size of the arrangement ordered and there was a gigantic white bow covering the small arrangement of flowers that appeared to be worth $50. Needless to say we expected our money back. I called FTD and after speaking with 5 different people I finally spoke to a very nice woman who said she would resolve the issue. Well, her superior told her to give us 20% off the original order, obviously, they didn't understand our complaint of not receiving the order we had placed. They flat out refused to refund the money. I have filed a dispute with my CC agency. SAVE YOURSELF TIME, EMBARRASSMENT and MONEY, DO NOT USE FTD.COM.

Poor service
I was very disappointed in the flowers, ordered from FTD, that my wife received in the hospital. I ordered an "upgraded" version of a basic "Big Hug Bouquet", raising the price from $39.99 to $59.99 (plus tax and S&H).
What she got was what I consider no upgrade whatsoever. We received a small (15 inches in height) bouquet with a clear glass vase (not the opaque china like one represented on the site). It was an attractive bouquet, but one I could have purchased at my local supermarket for $15. My total cost was $80. People who have seen the arrangement were stunned to learn it cost so much.
A complaint to FTD went unresolved. They requested a refund from the florist, "The Flower Place" of Sarasota, FL. They declined to provide one, saying they had used "more expensive flowers". It is important to note that I never requested a refund. I would have hoped for an adjustment of some sort, but what I am finding is no desire whatsoever on the part of FTD or the local florist to satisfy the customer.
Don't take my word for it. See for yourself and decide. I created a single page website to show the actual bouquet:
http://www.crappyflowers.com
On that page I show the FTD representation of the BASIC bouquet, and the ACTUAL UPGRADED one we got.
I recognize that FTD uses local florists, but I bought from FTD, and I expect FTD to resolve the issue. I will not use FTD again, and would never recommend them to anyone else. They apparently will not back their products. How could I ever be sure that flowers I send across the country are what they are supposed to be?

Terrible service
Horrible experience with ftd.com. Well, I ordered some flowers as birthday gift at FTD.com. Order was placed on time, it was paid on time but flowers were never delivered and up until now money haven’t been returned yet.
Chronology:
April 26 – order made (for May 6).
April 30 – payment through Paypal confirmed. Money withdrawn from my account, FTD.com paid.
May 6 – the date when flowers should be delivered
May 6 – ftd.com informs me that they cannon deliver it and ask me to give them another date – I agreed as soon as they send it before May 12.
May 20 – flowers not yet delivered, no action taken by ftd.com.
In the meantime I received many meaningless emails from FTD.com, from telling me that I didn’t pay (which was untrue) to downright silly... Today is May 21. I have informed ftd.com of everything but everything is IGNORED. Product NOT delivered, money NOT returned!!! If you want to buy some overpriced flowers for gift – go somewhere else. There is plenty of competition on the market. FTD.com takes your money and then doesn’t deliver – learn from my case!!!

Not what I ordered - late delivery
This is to warn "unsuspecting" folks. I decided to order Mom flowers for Mother's Day for the FIRST time and was I ever disappointed with product and service. The bouquet was NOT EVEN what I ordered and late with delivery. Saw the arrangement and was pitiful. So embarrassed.
Then went to Albertsons and bought the most beautiful flowers and she LOVED them. If FTD.com had any class, they would refund my credit charge. Please don't be fooled like I was. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

not what was ordered
February 26, 2008 I ordered flowers to be sent to my son in Florida as a congratulations for purchasing his first home. He sent me a picture of what he received and it was NOT what I ordered. I contacted FTD and they told me they had a 100% satisfaction guarantee and would take care of the problem. A new delivery was made and this time the order was even worse, not even close to what I ordered. I sent a picture of the flowers to FTD and to my surprise they called me on the phone, apologized for the mix up and said a representative would be in contact with me the following Monday, which would have been MARCH 17, 2008...yeah, it was really taking this long. Needless to say, I have still not heard back from them and any emails I send are ignored. I will NEVER do business with them again and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I was so disappointed and disgusted and what's even worse, my son still doesn't have his "Home Sweet Home" planter that I ordered!

Canceled delivery too late!
I placed an order for same day guaranteed delivery of flowers to the east coast at 9:30 am PST. I received a call at 1:30pm PST from FTD indicating the delivery could not be made. At that time it was 4:30 on the east coast and no one could deliver the flowers. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THEM, HAD I THOUGHT TO LOOK ONLINE AT THE COMPLAINTS - I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE AIRLINE MILES AND GONE WITH A MORE DEPENDABLE COMPANY!!!
