I hope this business suffers horribly because they ruined Valentine's Day in my eyes for myself and my girlfriend
Do not order flowers from FTD.com. I ordered flowers from FTD on the date of 2-13-10 for delivery on Valentine’s Day and they never arrived. I called the very next day and they stated that the florist did not have that model, but I never received a call from the florist or FTD.com. All I received was a weak apology, and a claim that my money would be refunded in the next 7-10 business days (which didn’t comfort me at all). They are too expensive anyway. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. This review could have been completely different if they had just contacted me as soon as possible, but instead they chose to apologize upon being prompted too. I hope this business suffers horribly because they ruined Valentine's Day in my eyes for myself and my girlfriend. I felt i had to email her the confirmation just to let her know I did not forget to send her flowers on Valentine's Day which I do every year. This lack of action by FTD.com as well as the florist they contracted with is inexcusable. On this particular day customer satisfaction should be at 100% because it is a very important day for those who are in loving relationships. They offered me no satisfactory excuse and once again because of this I hope this company suffers.

GUARANTEE NOT KEPT
FLOWERS WILTED THE DAY AFTER DELIVERY. CUSTOMER SERVICE APOLOGIZED, BUT WOULD NOT MAKE GOOD ON THEIR GUARANTEE. THEIR 7 DAY GUARANTEE DOES NOT SPECIFIY THAT YOU MUST CALL BEFORE SEVEN DAYS AFTER DELIVERY. IT IS MISLEADING AND THEY WOULD NOT MAKE GOOD ON THE FLOWERS, BECAUSE MY COMPLAINT WAS NOT MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY.

Awful attitude and stupid workers
I ordered flowers online with this company because they were a FTD Florist local to the area that I needed them delivered to. The driver couldn't find the house, spoling the surprise, having to call for directions.
With delivery charges I paid approx. $50 for a small, THREE FLOWER arrangement. The day the arrangement was delivered one flower died, by the second day the other 2 flowers were dead.
I called the Petal Patch Florist and the lady told me this is a common problem with this type of flower and they don't know they even sell this arrangement. WHAT? No offer to replace or refund - Just that this is a common issue with this type of flower, that they don't live well in foam. I told her that it cost her a customer and she let it go with a "too bad" attitude. I can't hardly believe it!

Never use them
In sending a FALL COLORED cornucopia to my mother for Thanksgiving, I found that (when she sent me a photo via cell phone) that the colors were in fact various shades of pink, purple and yellow daisies - NO SUNFLOWERS AS DESCRIBED in the ftd.com ad.NO FALL COLORS - NO husks or goards... I was sorely disappointed when I contacted customer service and sent PHOTOS of the VARIED subjects and was never given ANY consideration. THREE calls, 3 emails. NO SATISFACTION. NEVER USE ftd.com AGAIN!!!

Never again
Where do I begin? My husband ordered me flowers for a surprise (he's deployed) for SAME DAY delivery and they didn't come on that day. He had to tell me he ordered them and have me call customer service, because he doesn't get access to phones as often. I called and the lady was very nice and put the order in for the following Monday (I called on Saturday. They were supposed to be there on Tuesday!). He STILL got charged for the Same Day Delivery which I don't think is fair. When they finally came, the arrangement looked thrown together and the roses (all 3 of them) were already brown on the tips of the petals. I can't believe the arrangement was $54. It was NOT worth it at all. This is not the first time this has happened. We ordered Mother's Day flowers for our moms and they were wilting! It just REALLY makes me mad that my husband, who is deployed, wanted to do something nice and these incompetent people can't handle their business! They should NOT be advertising the same day delivery if they can't arrange for it to come on that day and they need to get BETTER flowers! We will no longer be doing business with them.

Undelivered Order / Refund not as promised
I placed an order for a plant to be delivered on Dec 23rd. On Dec 25th I spoke to the recipient and they had not received the delivery from FTD - turns out the delivery person delivered the plant to an incorrect address. The customer service person I spoke to offered to re-deliver the plant (mind you - the delivery would be 3 days after Christmas) at a 50% off discount. When I received my credit card statement, the full original amount was charged to my credit card. When I called the customer service line again - they said the prices went up after Christmas so they gave me a discount to help reduce the increased charge. This is a complete scam. I will NEVER EVER order from FTD again and I am sending a letter to the better business bureau as well. DO NOT USE FTD!!!

UNDELIVERED ORDER
I ordered a bouquet for my mother's birthday 10 days before the delivery date (Dec 24). The order was never delivered to my mother's home but FTD's order status system falsely claimed that it was delivered. Not delivering the flower as promised was already bad. They even cheat customer by claiming that an order has been delivered! They have been "investigating" till now with no solid answer on what is happening. I will never order from FTD again.

Simply awful
On April 25, I ordered flowers for Mother's Day to be Delivered Friday, May 9. On Monday, May 12, I checked the FTD website to make sure that that indicated that the flower were delivered, and it indicated that the flowers had been delivered. My credit card had been charged as well. Meantime, I found out that no flowers had been delivered to my mother, so I called FTD, and was told that they had sent the order to all 6 florists in the area and all had declined to accept the order. I asked why, if that was the case (since I had placed this order two weeks in advance), I had not been notified that the flowers would not be delivered as promised, and furthermore why my card had been charged. After a long and meaningless story, the customer service representative told me that 'the best they could do' was to refund my credit card. I responded that since no services had been provided, and since I was not informed that my mother would be receiving no flowers for mothers day and since I was charged anyway, that was certainly NOT the least they could do, and that they should deliver the flowers for free AND refund the erroneous charges to my credit card. After a long wait, the customer service rep offered to deliver the flowers for 20% off. I told the rep that completely failing to honor an order placed far in advance and not informing me that that was their intent was a huge problem for me, and that was not sufficient. I asked to speak to the customer service rep's supervisor. After a long wait, the customer service rep returned and informed me that the best they could do was offer me 40% off for the order they had already charged me for and not delivered at all, and that delivering a mothers day order after mothers day was unacceptable and not at all what I had in mind. And I still have not received a refund on my credit card.This is a completely ridiculous reaction to a horrible business faux pas. ISend the flowers I ordered to be delivered for Mother's day and which were not delivered and for which my card was charge, free of charge AND credit my card for the entire amount of the transaction. Mother's day occurs ON the day not after the fact. These flowers were delivered two weeks in advance. I received NO notification that the flowers were not going to be delivered, although that was apparently obvious in advance of the scheduled date, nor did I receive notice after the fact, nor did FTD.com offer any compensatory service for the fact that they failed to honor my order and my mother received no mother's day flowers other than to offer me 20% off for mother's day flowers NOT on mother's day.

substandard flower/plant

This is regarding a small floral arrangement sent by my sister (S. Majumdar) from CA to LA (order #E2539648). FTD delivered the small rose plant with yellow flowers on time, but the quality is a different matter. The plant, when arrived, had four wilting flowers two of which already had brown decaying patches. After a day, the leaves started falling off. This is after the best care we took according to the instructions. Now, after three days, the plant is almost dead.
I'm wondering who on earth should spend money to send a plant like that? At a fraction of the cost one can walk into a Walmart store and get a much better plant with healthier flowers. FTD has to improve its quality, and it is doubtful I would ever recommend FTD to others. It was a big disappointment.

Renegs on promises
I was promised a delivery would be made by noon on Feb. 13 -- I would never have placed the order otherwise. Instead, my wife left work at noon (for an entire week) and never rec'd her order. I asked FTD to refund the charge, given their "Satisfaction Guaranteed" promise. They would not; they argued that the delivery had been signed by her at 12:30.
First, 12:30 is not before noon. Second, this is an outright lie. We called her place of work and were told that the flowers were actually delivered at 2 and signed for by someone with an extremely different name.
DO NOT order from FTD. They will take your money, ignore their guarantee, and lie to defend themselves.
