medicaid and healthease
I get 966 a month for disability have they have given me a share of cost that was 713 a month and now 755 after the big raise. I have consistently met that each month. They only gave me healthease for two months. Disability has a stupid rule that you don't get health insurance until on for 24 months. How do you go to the doctor to prove the disability and get the treatment if you don't have the money. I reported a human dental mill and how stupid I had to have an exam for what I already knew because in April I had real insurance, so why couldn't I just get those records and go to a dentist, but no they had to waste money. I sat there over 4 hours in an unconditioned office and bronchitis and uncontrolled tachyacardia, needless to say I still have the cavities. Additionally no one told me I had to submit the doctor bills, I thought that was what the doctors office and pharmacy did. I got released from a hospital and needed a new heart medication. They were showing me not in the system, although I spent a total of 21 days in two hospitals and 1 er visit and two ambulance trips. When I called I told them I was in the hospital the lst 4 days of February and told them they also did another procedure doing that time so I know I had met my 755. The worker called the hospital at around 4 something and they faxed over the total bill for 11 days as this was the day after I was discharged and it had not been broken down. She didn't have enough sense or empathy that of course it had been met. She suggested the pharmacy might let me charge it. What time and what small town does she think we live in. It was late Friday evening before I got my medication and was almost ready to have to go back to the ER. I have tried to speak with Mr.Dryden and he keeps giving me to everyone else. I have contacted Sentor Martinez. I used to have insurance. I see why the poor get sick more often and stay sicker longer, no one gives a damn. My family doctor since 1983 would not even return my call for referrals for follow up with the cardiology and other places, the cardiology group finally said, just come in we need to see you. I wish to goodness I ran that place. I have not encountered anyone that cared exc ept mr.dryden's asst.. This needs totally revamped and if anyone thinks they want nationalized healthcare live a month being sick on medicaid, you will quickly change your mind.
