Bad experience with buy.com
Very disappointed with Electronica Direct. Placed an order for Toshiba Netbook for a very good price (order placed through Buy.com). Both Buy and Electronica Direct listed the item as in stock.
However, the today I tracked the order and found that my order had been canceled (with no reasons). However, they still had the item listed as in stock online (albeit with a much higher price).
Would never do business through buy.com or with there partners again, and recommend against anyone else doing business with them either.

Bad service
Avoid these people at all costs. Not worth the headache and long waits on their "support" line. Ordered through amazon a router from them. Waited a week. UPS shows "Exception" missing apartment number so they basically sent my order with a wron address. emailed a few times and no response. finally got through to support on their line. The lady sounded like she was sleeping and i just woke her up. They would not call UPS to reroute it and instead offered to send it back once they get it again. Thanks but no thanks i don't want to wait another 20 days to get this. I've ordered tons of stuff from newegg, amazon and others but this was the first dealing with these guys. Do not order. the lower price is not worth the headache and dealing with them.

okay you shipped to the address i gave you?
when i called to reverify with the "sleeping" support lady.. she actually read back my full correct address. Did that happen by magic?
I ordered through amazon and i double checked my address it was the correct one there and correct one in your system. You guys screwed up so stop trying to make it appear as it's the customer's fault. look at your rating here. enough said.

Bad service
Very disappointed with Electronica Direct. Placed an order on a Sennheiser PC350 headset for a very good price (order placed through Amazon). Both Amazon and Electronica Direct listed the item as in stock.
However, the next day I received an email from Electronica Direct saying that my order had been canceled due to them being oversold. However, they still had the item listed as in stock online (albeit with a much higher price). Also note that there was no mention of "while supplies last" on the lower price offering.
This leads me to believe that Electronica Direct simply made an error in pricing, and then canceled my order to avoid having to ship the item to me at the reduced price. As the error was theirs, not mine, I feel like this is a very dishonest and poor way to treat customers. I mentioned to them that I would gladly wait for the item to be back in stock, but they claimed that I would have to pay the higher price for the item.
Would never do business with again, and recommend against anyone else doing business with them either. Stick to honest companies that care about their customers.
