A door to door salesperson sold me a subscription for magazines. I spent 111 dollars and decided to cancel. The receipt said cancel in three days. I cancelled in one. The sent a letter saying they needed a photocopy of my check which they had deposited a few days later. I sent them a photocopy. They said my refund would be there shortly. I called a month later and they said that I must have lost it. They said they would send me a refund in a month. A month past. I called. "It will be sent tomorrow." A month passed "It will be sent next week" A month passed "It will be sent out on CHristmas Eve." Nothing ever came. In January their phones stopped answering.
