Eboost Media Reviews

Eboost Media is horrible
Eboost Media is a complete scam. They promise to have your business listed in the top three spots on Google and Yahoo search engines. It's only going to cost you $100 for the first month and then $160 each month after that. Sounds pretty good, right? Well, here is our experience with the company. They were very quick to return our calls to get our business but then after they received our credit card info it was like they fell off the face of the earth. My wife and I both called them repeatedly and it took us about a week to actually talk to someone. We were told that we would receive a call back and EVERY SINGLE TIME NO ONE CALLED BACK! We had to continually hound them to get anything done.

And then once we realized they were not a legit company, they refused to cancel our account. I tried canceling with them four days in a row and although I was told that we were "officially canceled" I would later receive a call with someone from Eboost offering to give us a better monthly rate. I asked if the account was canceled and the lady told me it was not. So after reading other people's horror stories I finally canceled the credit card that I gave them so they wouldn't be able to charge my card anymore. It has been such a hassle dealing with this company and a complete waste of time for my business. We are still not listed anywhere near the top three spots on google or yahoo.

Also, Eboost is simply doing something that every business owner can do for free. If you go to Yahoo or Google's local business listing, you can submit your business info so people will find it in the local listing. You can submit photos and put all of the info you want customers to see about your business. Google and Yahoo do not charge a dime for this and it will take you less than 5 minutes to do it yourself. Or you can pay the geniuses at Eboost to set you up for $100 and then they will continue to charge your card and give you the runaround when you decide to cancel.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!

Scam charges
EBOOST MEDIA company contacted me to place my company on the front pages search engines Yahoo and Google. At first I was interested but the price threw me off. $99 set up and $159 a month. I told them I wasn't interested bc of the price. It was too much. Well the rep called me back four times leaving messages. Then leaving me a voice mail saying they would cut the price to $50 the first month and $99 each month. I was concerned with my rights as a customer. They stated money back guaranteed . After the manager got on the phone and convinced that the program worked and I would be number one, he gave me the customer service number and told me I can cancel anytime. I went with the order.

After ten days I called back and could not find my name anywhere to be found. The number I called was a number to customer service but to their competitors customer service number. I was outraged! After finding their website I contacted the EBoost media and am still battling with the FRAUD COMPANY STILL!!! My Bank is handling it for me.

STAY AWAY!!! THEY ARE FRAUD!!!

fraud, vile and nasty messages
False promises to give you a top Google and Yahoo search ranking within about 7 days. Nice rep, but it's all downhill after you sign up. Demanding a refund may result in voice mails from eBoost Media that call you every vile name in the book. It happened to this guy: http://www.boingboing.net/2008/07/23/did-eboost-customer.html . Uggh. Avoid eBoost like the plague!

Fraud and scam
They pulled the same scam on me as they did all of the other people who have fell victim to them. They guarantee to give you a prime position on Google's natural or organic listings within 7-10 business days but don't deliver. They use terms like customer service and sales department like they are a legitimate business. But rest assured that this is all a front to get you to cough up your credit card information. They will go on about how they have big clients like Nike and Coca Cola to make you think that you are dealing with a professional SEO business.

I always said to myself that I would never fall victim to another scam but I did. I hope that if you are reading this report, you have not given them your credit card info. If you did, the only thing you can do at this point is try and dispute it as I have with your credit card company. On the advise of a letter given to me from Google. They suggest to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
