I ordered home phone service through dpi teleconnect via connect now. I authorized 29.99 for services, 19.99 for basic service and 10.00 for a set up fee. Low and behold i received an email late friday night early saturday morning stating that they took 79.56 off my debit card. I was livid and immediately at 9:00 am called connect now and informed them that i wasnt pleased that dpi teleconnect had taken the 79.56 off my debit card. Connect now was more than apologetic and informed me that my account had already been truned over to dpi teleconnect and that i would have to call them asap to cancel and ask for a refund {since connect now pulled up my accont and saw that i hadnt authorized a 79.56 transaction}, .

I got up bright and early this morning and and cslled dpi teleconnect and i let them know that i wanted my account canceled and wanted to be reimbursed for the entire amount. I was told that all they could refund me was 64.56 they had to keep 15.00 for some kind of fee.

To me what they did was the equivalent of stealing. and i told them this. What gave them the audacity to take an extra 50.00 off my card. I also asked the customer service rep what if he were in my shoes, had given me his card for a 20.00 purcahse and i took an extra 100.00 he would be livid and classify me as a theif. They have many complaints on them on the BBB. Even as i type this im still livid. Buyer Beware DPI Teleconnect are theives and scam artist.
