Domino's Reviews

Dominos has messed up my orders multiple times
I have ordered from Domino's multiple times and have been highly satisfied. However, there have also been multiple times that my order has been horribly messed up!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There have been several occasions that the drivers have forgotten a beverage and have driven back to get it.
One of the worst things that happened was when Dominos put Blue Cheese dressing with the Cinna Stix rather than icing. My friend actually dipped one of the Cinna Stix in the Blue Cheese dressing without realizing and ate it. [ew]
Also we have ordered Cinna Stix and Cheesy Bread and instead of sending both, there were two orders of CInna Stix sent.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a separate incident, which was even most traumatic for me, I received a Breadbowl Pasta with a heap of MEAT I had not ordered online. In fact, I even called in to ensure that the marinara sauce was meatless. I ordered spinach, provolone cheese, and feta cheese for the Breadbowl Pasta and instead received chicken meat and some sort of other mystery meat either bacon or ham which I have excluded from my diet. The meat was upsetting because of my pescetarianism but also because the meat just looked plain gross. I will attach some photos. VEGETARIANS STAY AWAY FROM THE BREADBOWLS FROM DOMINOS.
They sent a corrected order but, still, it was pretty disgusting.

poor service
I had checked the mail today and the only thing was a add from Domino's. I dicided to place an order but it had on line coupon so I did it through my computer. I placed it and thought right after I did not order a soda, so I called. They knew who I was since I had to put my number in the order. So i asked if I could add a Coke to the order, if not i'll go get one when my pizza is cooking. The man said that he could do that but I would have to pay cash for the soda. so he asked me 3 time what I wanted for soda after I said I would like a 2 liter of coke. I understand he wanted to make sure but a little overkill. So my pizza came fast and when the worker gave me the soda it was diet, I can not stand that stuff. Well I was told he would go back and bring me the right one, I told him if it was not really out of his way. he said he would call me to let me know what they will do about it. So they did not even bother to call me, really pissed me off about this. I see all the commercial about how they have changed and how they are about the costumer. Well I feel like they did not want to do anything for me and once they brought me my food right or wrong they had nothing left to do. I see this as being very rude. on a side note the pizza was undercooked. Really don;t think I'm going to have that food again, I payed good money for poor service and undercooked food. I should have just made food myself.

So thank you Domino's you will not have to worry about my business anymore. in short your workers have no respect for your customer. I wish instead of spending all that money on your adds you would spend it on training your workers to at least not lie to the customers.

Can afford to pick and choose customers now?
We have ordered from this location and had delivery, no problem. The pizza was good, the delivery driver was nice, etc. Today I called and was told they wouldn't take our order to deliver to us! I explained that they have done so multiple times, but they said they couldn't drive to our subdivision because we are out of their delivery area. I asked to speak to the manager, open about the fact that they have repeatedly delivered to us (recently!) and i wanted to complain that they now refused to and I couldn't understand the difference one week makes in delivery zones, and his name was XXXXXX. The economy must not have been hard on this location. I told him "you" would lose our business, and he was okay with that. Ironically, this was a calm conversation, no yelling or anything on either side; he was just matter of fact about it. Is business that good that we can be that way to customers?

Fed up
Tonight is the last straw! Now dont get me wrong I absolutely love dominos but just about every time I order, something always seems to be missing! And I usually always have to eat my food cold/semi cold as I am a very picky eater and I cannot eat my food without having everything that I need with it/ordered. Now when these things happen I always call and let them know and they always fix it and bring whatever they have forgotten, usually they come back within reason and are always polite about it.

Now tonight when I had called and made an order, now although I found this phone call amusing and very oddly funny not everyone would have enjoyed it and might have gotten upset with it. And not to mention how many times do they/or have they done these phone pranks on their customers. Nonetheless even though I enjoyed it and found humor in it they should not be acting in such a manner when dealing with customers.

Ok so now here is what has done it for me tonight after I finally get my food I go to eat my hot wings (which for some reason were absolutely extremely over the top spicy hot tonight, enough to burn a hole in your stomach spicy hot!! Which I do have to say I am having a hard time eating them!!) and when I opened up the blue cheese dipping sauce it wasnt any good it had gone bad. So needless to say I had called and told them and they said they would send another sauce over. Now to mind you I had already waited the average 20-30 min to get my food and I was more than ready to eat now I have to wait again, as usual. So now I am waiting for them to come back its now been over a half hour and no one has showed up at that point. So I called back and told them and the person gives me this excuse oh he grabbed it on his way out the door and was supposed to drop it off to you, he must have forgot sorry, I will have another driver bring it to you (ok so now why in the world would someone who is now clocked out and done for the night and not working want to come back to a delivery?). So now from the time I ordered, got my food, and waited again for them to come back it was now a total of 1 hour and 20 min! Now my food is cold, Thank you once again!!! I should be able to enjoy my food and have it the way its supposed to be without any problems, nevertheless may I mention/remind how outrageously priced the food is! So yes when I order I expect my food to be as it should and to have everything that I have ordered and paid for (as I am sure everyone else does too).

I think that they need to take more pride and care in their work/more training if necessary. Something needs to be done. I do understand that we are human and people forget things or what not but this has gone too far and always seems to happen and I am sure that I am not the only one that is having these kinds of problems.

Vulger and Rude Service from store and District Management
(cut directly from my Better Business Bureau complaint)

Attention: Better Business Bureau,
On June 25th, I placed an online order on domino's website. The order was suppose to be delivered from the store located at 1056 Alamance Church Road in Greensboro, NC. Around 20 minutes later I get a call that came through on my caller ID as “Spring Garden”. I answered and it was an older sounding man, who also sounded as if he was high on drugs and confused. He wanted me to verify my address so that he can head my way. I immediately stopped him and asked what for and where he was calling from. He told me he was calling from Domino’s. I thought that this was odd because my address was entered into the website correctly and his caller ID only said, “Spring Garden” instead of Domino’s. I told him he could go ahead with the address verification, but he couldn’t because he didn’t have my address. I thought this was odd because he had no way to validate what I was going to give to him. At this point, I was sure that I was dealing with some sort of a fraud issue. I then asked him if I could speak to the store manager. He placed me on hold and a young sounding woman got on the phone and said she wasn’t the store manager, but was the manager on duty. I then asked her to verify my address. She wanted to know what number I called from so that she could look it up. I told her that I didn’t call her, a guy called me. She removed the phone from her mouth and shouted out loud, “who was talking to this fucking man”. She got back on the phone and I interrupted her by telling her that if this really is Domino's cancel my order and refund my money because I am now afraid that they will do something nasty to my food. She told me she couldn’t do that. I told her that I would not take their food because it is a fact to the general public’s knowledge that there has been at least one domino's in North Carolina that has done some vile things to customer’s orders. She then told me that those incidents didn’t happen at her store. She then proceeded to hang up on me.
I then called another Domino’s across town and asked for the District Managers phone number over the store I was having the issue with. He gave me the number (336) 856-0411 and the name of the District Supervisor, which was Mike Scallion. I immediately called the office and left him a message with my full contact information. My wife then tracked our order on Domino’s web page and it moved from stage 3 “bake” to stage 5 “picked up by customer”. Our order # was xxxxxx and the total that was not refunded was $19.38. This is a lie because we never left the house. Honestly, we ordered our dinner from another pizza place that gave us great service. I ask that Dominos review their video tapes to prove that I wasn’t there. I went the evening with no phone call. The next day I called again and left a voicemail for Mr. Scallion. I then went the weekend with out a returned message, refund, or an apology. Then Monday came around and I called the office and his secretary that answered the phone said he was due in the building in 45 minutes to an hour from then. She took my name, number, and a brief description of my problem. I asked who his boss was and she said that it was a Mr. Brad Walker and he was unavailable to take my call also. It is now July 1, 2009 and I have still not received an apology, refund, or call back from the Domino’s Management of the Greater Greensboro, NC area. I would be more than happy to provide my phone call records as proof of my calls.
I would like the company to refund my order that I placed over the internet. I would also like Mr. Brad Walker to explain to me why I or any other consumer should continue to do business with his company when his employees are treating customer in such a manner as described above and his own upper manager is not returning phone calls to poorly treated customers.

Nightmarish experience
My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza with sausage and it was delivered 20 min later but when we opened the box we saw it had pineapple which I hate. I called and complained and the manager (sounded 12) said I must have ordered pineapple. As I said to her, Why would I order something I don't like? She then told me the order-taker never makes mistakes, again implying I was wrong. She had a horrible attitude and didn't care about this at all! She said she'd remake the pizza (said this with attitude) and then hung up on me. My boyfriend and I decided to drive over there (only 5 min drive) and marched in and asked to see the manager. (Again, she looked way too young to be a manager) She apologized profusely and denied being rude to me and denied insisting that I had ordered pineapple...we told her to credit the debit card and cancel the order. She said the pizza had already been dsent out for delivery. As soon as we left, our neighbor called my cell and said there was a Domino's pizza guy sitting on our door step. We were stopping to pick something else up for dinner and said just to tell him to go away. We found out the next day that he was pissed and peeled up the road in his loud truck. I think Dominos (at least this one) is a joke...bunch of tools.
