Item never delivered!
I ordered an I phone yesterday through ATT and they express shipped via DHL. I have never received the package although they say they have delivered it. ATT will not send me a new phone. DHL will not refund ATT since ATT never insured it! I am the one without the money ($450) and the phone! Detail: I had a road trip scheduled for tomorrow and need the phone. Now besides everything I have to delay the trip because stupid DHL!!! I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know not to!!!

Overnight delivery last 7 days!
DHL is a joke as a delivery service. I ordered a camera for my daughter from Kodak (Memphis,TN). This was shipped overnight on December 22nd. Today it is December 27th and I still have no camera. It has been sitting in their facility since December 24th, it was scanned in at 7:10 am. They put on the tracking info that I requested it be held there waiting for me to pick it up. That is the first lie of many that this company has told in regard to this delivery, or should I say non-delivery. I've been told high volume over the holidays (hello... it's Christmas), bad weather (hello... it's December in the Northwest... it snows here), two delivery drivers quit... two hours later 4 drivers quit... It has been lie after lie. Joe from customer service (wow... he is in the wrong department) was rude and arrogant - he told me it will be delivered by Friday! All I can say is don't let your packages be delivered by this pathetic company. Stick with UPS or Fed-Ex, they have delivery services not excuses!!! - Monica.

No delivery & lies!
To put this as simple as possible, DHL LIES. For one week every person I have contacted with DHL has lied about the location and delivery of a package I am expecting. Beginning on Dec. 17th and every day since DHL has promised delivery of a package. The lies have not been limited to just phone conversations but in writing by email responses from DHL to me. GOOD NEWS TO ALL THOUGH... DHL IS LOOSING MONEY AND WILL SOON BE GONE.

Worst delivery service ever!
Overnight package send via DHL on dec10 as of dec22 can not even get an answer at DHL. When you finally wade through the automated messages. You are informed the hold time is greater than 15 minutes and call back during business hours. Well my wife and myself both have called since the 12th and still no package. This has to be the worse customer service not to mention delivery in the world.

DHL service and delivery!
I have been forced to use DHL on three occasions by ordering online from a website and the website sending through DHL only and I have had nothing but HORRIBLE service from DHL every time. The most recent this week! I paid $160 extra for next business day delivery and the company sent it through DHL and I have waited three days now and was just told by DHL that they don't "guarantee" next business day after the 16th of December! They don't care if I paid extra or not!
I asked if I could drive down to the distribution center and pick it up myself and was told NO that they were not going to go look on the pallet for my order and that I had to wait until an "attempt" to deliver the package had been made before I could "try" to pick up the package the following day from the distribution center. We are talking about thousands of dollars worth of computer equipment!
The last delivery before this one from DHL showed up 4 days late and the delivery driver was rude and obnoxious from the moment I opened the door. He was dressed in ripped jeans and he smelled like alcohol! Is THAT really the image they are trying to portray? They don't even ring the doorbell. You have to listen to hear a truck pull up then RUN to the door and open it or they just sneak up and tape an "attempted delivery" sticker on your door.
I actually caught the guy trying to do it the last time! He hadn't even taken my package out of his truck! He just snick up to the door with the sticker and when I opened the door on him he was reaching to post the sticker on it and was surprised! I had to actually ASK him to get my package out of the truck. He said "I wasn't expecting anyone to be here!" So you don't even bother to ring the doorbell or knock?
DHL needs to be put out of business!

Customer Abuse
I just used DHL Services to send a suitcase from Paris to my friends in Barcelona who were leaving for a cruise. They needed their suitcase with their clothes. DHL promised the suitcase would be there and could be picked up by Friday, the 19th of October. I sent the suitcase on the 15th. It took me a whole day trying to get the phone number and the address of where the suitcase could be picked up. It was promised for Friday. People on the phone in Madrid were extremely rude, and refused to deliver any information about their Barcelona office, saying that they were not to answer any international phone calls. The people in France had no address for their Barcelona office. A dozen e-mails were exchanged, always automatic, please call the same number in Spain. Many times they hung in my face. Finally when my friends went to pick up their suitcase in Barcelona, DHL was closed during their office hours. When the Cruiser's concierge tried to have the suitcase delivered on the boat, after a three hour negotiation DHL flatly refused and hung up in their face. My friends were forced to go on the cruise without their suitcase. After paying 211€ for a failed service and extremely rude communication, I think I should be reimbursed.

Theft!
Ordered a computer from Dell, made it too the Arlington Texas facility and the then after it was scanned in, it checked out, I did get the small package containing the lojack disc. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to load it on the computer. I know that government regulations require that computers be identifiable via encrypted code accessible by tracking internet usage, be i am never going to find the lousy piece of crap that stole my computer, but I do know he or she works for the Arlington Tx DHL facility, if I could find them I would sue them for the interest Dell is charging me even though i did not receive my computer.

Poor service!
I am trying to send a suitcase from Paris to Barcelona. They are willing to ship it to Barcelona. I wanted to have the address of their office and phone number in Barcelona to communicate it to the people picking up the suitcase. The French office doesn't have the phone number for the Barcelona office. They gave me the Spanish International number which I called. The person who replied screamed in the most rude and grotesque way that they did not accept international calls and that they did not have a phone for their Barcelona office!!! He refused to give me any information whatsoever or to connect me with someone else in the company. I wrote an e-mail to the Spanish Customer Service site who replied by telling me to call the same number to find out about the services they offered!!! I called back the French office, and the operator told me his colleague was stupid and hung up in my face... The communication style at DHL beats it all... my suitcase is still sitting here!

This is an awful company to be done wrong by
I had DHL ship a painting to my home in India (I am a british expat). It was shipped in a very sturdy container. The painting cost me 700 USD , a price which is well documented. The DHL delivery person delivered the painting exposed, on a motorbike while it was raining heavily. It was ruined.
After a very long and stressful process of emails not being responded to and attempts to fob me off completely, they have admitted their failings and offered 100 USD compensation. This despite the fact that they deviated completely from their own standard practices and failed absolutely to deliver as per the standards they set themselves and promise to us as customers. This is, to anybody with even a faint grasp of ethics, is totally unacceptable.
Their response sadly shows how utterly irrelevant we are as customers to these huge faceless companies. If I was responsible for damaging a customers goods through woeful neglect and complete deviation from the quality of service I had promised to that customer, I would have the decency to pay them for the damage my actions had caused. Not so DHL.
The sad thing is that the stress of having your shipment destroyed through incompetence is small compared to the stress of trying to be compensated or even recognized by the company that did it. The response simply adds insult to Injury. This is an awful company to be done wrong by.

Poor service!
A pack containing 2 compact discs and a letter vide consignment no 1314437095 bound for Jersey City, New Jersey, USA was dispatched from DHL Express, City Center, Durgapur, West Bengal, India on 17. 9. 07. When the consignment finally reached the consignee's address, both the CDs were found crushed to pieces, the letter cut in 3 parts, the casing of folded in two and the envelope apparently cut and tampered with.
The pack contained video and pictures of my daughter's engagement with the consignee who stays in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA. The contents of the CD were of emotional value to both the parties, the monetary value of the transaction notwithstanding.
An amount of Rs 1649/- was charged from me by DHL at the Duragpur Branch who would have taken utmost care (having been paid for that) to have the packet delivered to the consignee whereas the whole matter was handled with gross neglect and irresponsibility by DHL.
As a customer, it is my right to know from the company as to the reasons for such unprofessional and disdainful handling of the consignment and I demand of the company to let me know why I should not be paid the compensation for the damages incurred upon me!
