Billing: Fraud in Progress
I have been using DHL for over 5 years, I have to admit that their non US service is great, once packages leave the US they get delivered on time|. I recently discovered a billing error where DHL surcharged me over $1000".00 to ship a large package to Saudi Arabia, . Luckily I had my DHL quote and package information recorded/. I created a billing dispute and DHL refused to correct the issue, I started the process back in February and I realize that I was dealing with complete idiots! They refused to recognize that their were billing me for package dimensions that exceeded manufacturer packaging specs, it is almost if the package grew within DHL sort system". After multiple emails and certified letters, DHL continues to call me on weekly basis looking for payment and I have to tell them every time that the invoice is not over due, it is in dispute, all I asked them to do is correct their mistake, . But hold on, it is a mistake or an opportunity to enhance revenue?

In talking with other EX DHL customers, I realized that DHL has a long history of padding the invoices|. So buyer be aware, audit your invoices and do not give them your credit card.

Untimely Delivery
I would like to express my extreme frustration over the lack of promised communication re the delivery of my package by DHL . After 7 phone calls over the past 4 days inquiring as to the status of my package, I have been given a litany promises and outright lies that I would be called via the telephone to give me an update within an hour. Delivery was promised on Wed June 15, so I took a day off work. Alas it was not delivered and I am home again today going through the same routine of futile phone calls. The customer service reps on each occasion took me through the same routine and so it became clear that no information was being recorded. They provided a number to call 1877 456 7911 which is permanently busy and so is a complete waste of time. Common courtesy would suggest a phone call advising me of delivery status. To refer to me as a valued customer as written in their documentation is therefore a total misrepresentation of their commitment to their clients. I would suggest Canadians give this company a total miss and try FedEx.

not delivered in time
Paid dhl on a friday to deliver a package to romania on monday as it was urgent and the post office won't deliver as fast.Driver came to pick up my package and did not let me fill in the paper work, did it himself and rush me sign as he was in a hurry.At about 2pm on monday called to check why the package hasn't arrive and was told i'll be called back. No call by 6:30 pm and had to call back myself only to be told that the package will not be received in romania untill tuesday.Because the receiver tel nr was not on the paper work.dhl are not as fast as they claim to be and their people are not well trained.Customer services won't even let me talk...and i could go on and on...
I will never use dhl again. I paid £70 so that my package will be there monday as it was for a very important meeting that my husband had schedueled for tue morning. £ 70 FOR NOTHING!

Parcel with courier for three days.
Ok let's start from odering. I ordered a new xbox 360 from Currys on 29/04, DHL picked up the parcel from Currys on 03/05. On 04/05 DHL's tracking facility displayed my parcel as "with courier for delivery". Now if you don't know, Hull is not a large city, and the depot is 3km from my house. Not only is it strange that it would be with the courier for this amount of time, when I attempt to contact them, they ignore me, both via email and by not answering the telephone.

I have had things delivered to me many times by different companies, (home delivery network, parcel force, fed-ex and such) and never has this happened with any of them. This is however the second time this has happened with DHL, the first time being an order John Lewis, who handed DHL the parcel 15 days before they delivered it to me... I can see this happening again unfortunately.

Rip off
12-1-10 i had my sister ship a piece of marble from indonesia, she packaged it for international transport, (bubble wrap, foam and crate) DHL repackaged it with old cardboard only causing breakage. DHL refuses to refund my shipping costs, many times the cost of the item, saying i would have to make a claim in indonesia, knowing full well that there are no consumer protections there and i would have a snowball in hells chance of getting a claim processed there. DHL has the worst customer service i have ever encountered, in short they are a ripoff and ripoff the small customer/shipper. stay away from DHL !

My mom send some food stuff from india through a local courier which came here through dHL. When i opened the package i found some of the food packages are epmty. i was so upstate to see this. I will make sure that i will not use services from DHL again in my life because of this Experience. i will Let my friends and family not to use DHL service specially india DHL.

I went to Mexico City to pick up a package but only heard continuous promises
On Monday, January 9th, I was told I would receive my package on Tuesday. Tuesday I waited all day and at 5 pm was told I would receive it on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I waited all day and at 5 pm the deliverer called to tell me he couldn't find the address.

I gave him the correct address but he told me he wouldn't deliver it until Tuesday. I told him I was leaving Mexico City Friday at noon and asked him if I could pick up the package myself. He said 'yes' and told me where to pick it up. I told him I was on my way.

At the DHL office I was told they didn't have it and to return after 7 pm. At 7 pm I was told they didn't have it and I should call Customer Service.

Customer Service told me to call in the morning at 9 am. Tuesday at 9am I was told the package was placed in the imports area and couldn't be picked up. It is now 10:55 am and I'm waiting for a call so I can go pick up the package even though I was told it was unlikely that I would have it by noon.

I've called DHL at least 20 times. I've used up about 30 dollars on cell phone cards. I've wasted 2 days waiting for the package instead of shopping for my business. I made repeated trips to DHL with no success. Continuous frustration.

Unpleasant couriers
Some of the couriers DHL employ think nothing of behaving in an insulting manner and treating you with contempt, even when they themselves seem incapable of doing their job. The courier who delivered my package today was a scruffy, rude and barely competent fellow whose behaviour bordered on aggressive.

Be careful.

Useless post
DHL is the most useless postal service in the whole world. You should get ready to start posting losses because am never going to use you again. You want more words? You will get it DHL IS USELES.

Shipment lost
I was supposed to recieve extremely urgent shipment from DHL which is now lost by postman. The postman is on vacation today and DHL thinks that it is very unappropriate to call him while its ok if they lost my shipment. DHL SUCKS. please people never ever use it.. it is totally unreliable. You will be really sorry..
