I experienced a financial hardship one year ago this month and I
contacted Countrywide Home Loans as soon as I felt I was going to
have a problem. I sent two payments to clear up my default. My next payment was sent by the 15th of the month and then I received a letter stating that they intended to excellerate the loan
because payment had not been received. I called to clear this matter up. Keeping in mind that each time I call, I am speaking to a different person and sometimes that person is not speaking english well. I was told not to send anopther payment and I was
sent a repayment packet which required that I send back all of the signed documents, financial information and a payment. I sent the information required and I thought I was all set. I was told that it was not received by the due date. I got on line and researched the overnight fedex package. I told them that it was in fact received ahead of time and I told them who signed for it. I got an apology and they claimed to send my information back to the work out department. I was sent through the same process to
no avail because they claimed some signed documents were missing from that package as well. I have gone through the same process at least seven times. Each time sending a payment and in January they sent the payment back and I am told that I am now seven months behind and My house is in foreclosure and waiting on a sale date. The most recent package was sent on March 2, and I have called to speak to my work out negotiater and she is never available. When I did speak with someone about my account, I asked the status and I am still in foreclosure and all documents have not been received. In the midst of all the so called efforts to save my home from foreclosure I was offered a partial claim and then told that I was not eligible.( I have an FHA loan). Most recently, I was told to call back on Monday to see if any more documents had been received. The person I spoke with stated that she had never heard of such a short turn around time for returning the paper work and she had been working there a long time. Which was probably another lie. I was speaking in my normal speaking voice and was told to lower my voice, I can't hear you when you are yelling at me. I never raised my voice one time. I don't know what is going on with these people. After seven tries you would think that I would get it right one of those times. I have taken time off work to get this resolved. They are in no way
trying to help me, and it's lie after lie after lie. They have taken the time to get me to this point by pretending to help.
