they say i have to fill out a investigation form but my computer wont down load it and im using my nieghbors down the street idont see why they cant a least send the form to my email

Fraud & Non-Existant Customer Service
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! THEY WILL NEVER CORRECT THEIR MISTAKES NO MATTER HOW MUCH PROOF YOU OR BILL MATRIX SUPPLIES THEM!!!
We made two $56.95 payments in December, one on the 17th and one on the 19th. The payment was applied to our account. The one on the 17th was applied to someone else's account. Call after call, faxing information and even a three way call to Bill Matrix by CBS, with Bill Matrix supplying them with all the information to correct the mistake, still no cooperation. Even after the representative and her supervisor that we spoke to on the 21st of January 2009 unblocked our account so that the $50 could be transferred into our in "48 Hours", still Nothing. I called them today (January 25, 2009) to find out what is going on, guess what the Rep told me? "There are no notes on your account about this." First off, you will be dealing with the cream of the crop of idiots when you call them. I asked the rep today to update my account with my new number, and having to repeat it four times, well she took my old number out and only God knows what number she put it because the automated services doesn't recognize my new or old number. I digress, wile on the call today, the floor manager asked if he could put me on hold for 5 minutes while he called Bill Matrix. 2 minutes into the call I heard a very expected and anticipated "Click" as my call was disconnected. And guess what, yes you're right, I can't reach them because the rep screwed up my phone number. One wonders if this was not done purposely to keep me from being able to call back. Before I called. my account was "Clear". After I was disconnected, I went online and found my account had been blocked!!!
I E-mailed them as well as the local Sherrif's office, the U.S Attoney's office and their main company, Evercom.
Please do not use this company as it will cause you more harm, money and heartbreak than your loved one will ever cause you in jail.

Quoted one price charged more
I signed up with correctional billing service so my son could call my cell phone .They set up account but didn't tell me that Verizon will not deal with them. So I bought a prepaid phone after 2 weeks of
fighting with them. I had even tried another cell phone and my home phone .The prepaid worked, they told me since it was local it would be 1.85 for 15 min, and it was for 5 days and then it went to 5.86 for 15 min., so he ran out of money and they blocked all phones that he had called .
when I called again the person in [ the Carribian ]
i told her to drop all of this because they were cheating people she said he owed 7 dollars and I had to pay 57.00 to get the phones unblocked .this
is the worst rip off I have ever ran across, and I will persue this with a lawyer.

Unauthorized charges
Company billed my credit card for $56.95, on 9/23/08. For service to receive inmate telephone calls from a correctional facility! I was under the assumption that this service was needed at the time of purchase. I later realized, that Correction Billing Services was not the provider I should go through to receive the calls. I contacted company Sep, 24th and they advised me that a refund would be placed back to my Credit Card with in 3 to 4 weeks. After 4 weeks passed, I called company and they stated that for some reason the Credit was not put back on my Card, and they mailed the check on October 5th (Western Union) and that I should be receiving it any day. I waited two more weeks and no check arrived. I contacted them regarding this and they stated it would be 3 to 4 weeks from mailing date of October, 5th. I waited until November 5th and contacted them again regarding my refund again the agent stated that it should be arriving any day! It has been 7 weeks, still no REFUND, and November 14th I got the run around again. I feel they are ripping me off and want my moneys rendered to me at once. On November 19th this company told me they would be sending out an investigation to see if the check they sent was cashed. As of December 2nd Correctional Billing Services still has not found out any information to provide to me.

Charging your for time NOT talked
They make you pay upfront to receive collect calls from the city of country jail, yet when the call drops before our time is up they Still charge you $360. plus.40cent for the call you never recevied. I will report this to BBB and see what they can do about this SCAM!

Never received any calls after I paid..
I called CBS and paid them 50.00 to start the calls never came through so they tell me that the Phone company I have doesnt work with them so I wouldnt be able to receive calls so I change my phone plan to a better phone company then call CBS to give them new information and They take 60.00 this time.. I waited two days still not able to recieve calls so I call back and they tell me the same thing again and I'm like how can that be if my sister and same phone company and she receives the call from the jail... They have made it such hell for me and my loved one we have to do three-way calls just to talk now. They always have an excuse or reason as to why I cant get calls. So when I told them my sister had the same phone company and she recieved calls they didnt know what to say they HUNG UP ON ME... I'm sick of this fake ass company, ..

Unauthorized billing
I have read the replies about evercon and have dealt with their non english speaking reps. But I went up the ladder and found that Law enforcement and gov officials don't want to hear about it. this leads me to believe they are getting something out of the scam. It wont happen but if everyone stopped using it till they change services they would change in PDQ. My son is at the mercy of OSTEGO CO which has already railroaded him into doing time after a plea with no time. Or we can just wait and watch them all burn in he**.

Scam and cheating
Inmate called representing himself as an emergency officer and stated a family member had been in an accident and that I was to call a number. I did so and it opened the call forward feature so the inmate forwarded his calls to my number.
The sad part is CBS will not take care of it and I did have a family member who was in serious car accident at the same time. This is not the end of this.people be aware and don't fall like we did.
CBS really needs to fix their system.Correctional billing systems stinks.
