We moved down from Cape Town to Pretoria in December 2009. Everything was packed in record time... BECAUSE they stuffed as much possible into the boxes. They first had to load my home content. Firstly the truck was late. Then the workers loading the truck sat around for nearly a hour and a half doing absolutly nothing. I actually started to carry the boxes outsite as they still had to load our offices after loading my home content. Where my previous move down to Cape Town took about 3 hours this took Classic Removals the Best part of 6 hours!!!Finallly my home content was loaded, onto the offices. Once again I started carrying boxes etc outside as we where now past 4 o clock. The truck had to go and fetch the trailer that was scheduled to haul our office equipment down. This took nearly an hour and a half. Once the truck and trailer finnally pitched, the trailer was filled with somebody elses furniture. WONDERFULL!!! They had to remove some of the furniture to pack our furniture. A load that should have taken about 6-8 hours took them 12 hours to load. When everthing was offloaded there was some stuff missing which now after 4 months i am still struggling to get them to replace!
