unauthorized fees
My husband and I both signed up to get FREE credit reports (as stated on CIC's advertising and per federal requirement). Both of us have incurred 3 months of charges as a result of signing up for "free" credit reports. This is fraudulent advertising. I reported this with the BBB and though the BBB contacted them, CIC never responded.

Unauthorized charge
In July 2008 I checked my credit report through freecreditreport.com. Later on I noticed 14.95 charge on my credit card statement. When I finally got to talk to a customer service rep, I was told that when you check your credit report you are automatically signed up for a monthly membership. They did not refund the charge! This company is a THIEF!! When I asked the customer rep how com thousands of other people are having problems with them he arrogantly said that they have millions of customers and thousands complaints is not such big of a number!! BE AWARE!!THIS COMPANY IS A THIEF!!

Unauthorized charges
When I got onto Freecreditreport.com, I thought I could find out for FREE what it was. When my bank statement came out, I had been charged $14.95 for this 'FREE' service. When I called to dispute it, I was told they could not find my info. I asked to speak with a manager and was told none were available.
I continued to request info from them until they finally said they would credit my account. Don't give up when you are being ripped off. Fight for your rights.

unauthorized charges on credit card
II just noticed that on my visa bill that this cic triple advantage has been charging my credit card $14.95 a month since June of 08. I have not given them any authorization to bill my card for any type of service and I want it stopped immediately. I also demand to be reimbursed for these charges. I will be contacting the attorney general, the bbb, my visa credit card, and any other place that i can find to get this stopped. These are unauthorized charges and I will see that this type of rip off will be reported.

Unauthorized Billing
CIC Triple Advantage credit report company strted charging my credit ard account after only reading their website. I believe AOL automatically switched me to that site via an unauthorized pop-up.

billed for services not received
I applied for a free online credit report and I filled all the information requested for me to receive a free credit report and then all of a sudden I started noticing that my bank statement had a mysterious deduction of 14.95 from a company called triple advantage and I knew I had not ordered anything from there never even heard of this company and now I find out that this isa company disguising themselves as freecredit report .com. This a total scam.

Free Credit Report
I was billed without my knowledge for monthly access to my credit report. When I called to cancel, the representative was extremely evasive and difficult. It took more than 7 attempts for me to communicate that I wanted to have my account canceled. I remained persistent and refused to give her my Social Security number. I have not yet received confirmation of my cancellation. Thanks to other comment suggestions on this site, I immediately called my credit card company and had them issue me a new account number and new cards.

charges on card but no services
The CIC Triple Advantage Company keeps charging me for a "FREE" credit report which it did not deliver. Talking to someone on the phone who is from a foriegn country to get it stopped and refunded to my credit card is worthless! I cant understand them and they cant understand me.Please investigate and get this scam stopped. I want it removed from my card!!!

unwarranted charges to my bank account
I went online to get my free credit report. Never did get all 3 and did not give permission or sign up for continued service. However my bank account has been charged continuous from something I was suppose to receive free.
