Refusal to issue a refund!
I spoke with Mel a rep. for CIC and she stared to me that I signed up for this service in Jan. 06 and have not used this service since Nov. 06. She stated also that she will stop the service but will not issue a refund. I informed her that I have not used this service as I had tried in the past to cancel the service. She mentioned that I have unviewed alerts in my account which are due from failure to notify the customer of service still in effect.
I am disputing these charges and would like to receive a refund in the amount of 51.80, which includes Jan 07 to date April 26 07. Service has been for one year, however not to my knowledge.

Automatic withdrawal from checking account
I was just going over my bank statements and noticed that for the last 4 months I have been getting charged 12.95/month for something I have, no clue what it is. It just shows on my bank statement CIC Triple Advantage. I don't not want this product/service.

Charges of 12.00 never authorized!
I went on line to request a "free" credit report as advertised on TV. I paid $2495 for the report. Then a charge of 12.00 dollars started to appear on my debit card. I have called the company and canceled the so called membership I never applied for in the first place. I also alerted my bank. These people need to be shut down.

Phone number
For those of you who would like a phone number for these people, I just called them. It is 1-877-481-6825. I only got refunded two months of my recurring credit card charge of 12.00, however they gave me an address to write and try to get the rest back. It is:

Watch out! No credit report is free!
I logged on to freecreditreport.com to of course get a free copy of my credit report. When you sign up it offers a free credit monitoring service that is mandatory to sign up for (and give your credit card number for). I must not have read closely because I thought that in order to get the service you would have to renew it after 30 days. I was mistaken. Unless you call after 30 days to cancel service the company charges $12.95 a month for a bogus service.
CIC Triple Advantage sends emails to your account after any changes have been posted to your credit report. Ironically, even while I was paying for the service (without my knowledge) I still couldn't access the service. So I was being charged for a service I was not even being provided.
Furthermore, they only refund you up to two months. Luckily I caught it o month three. Please beware and aware!

Cancellation of membership problem!
Found it very difficult to cancel membership. Called numerous times and always put on hold for extended periods of time. Wrote letter also.

Unauthorized charges!
I thought i was signing up for a free credit report and now for 3 months they have been charging my bank account almost $20.00. I do not use it and feel I should get my money back. I cannot even find a phone number or even a contact me or an e-mail. I do not have the money for it and I do not even use it. Like i said i thought i was getting my one time free credit report.

Signed up for service I never received and did not want or need!
CIC is billing me monthly for a service I do not use, do not need and can't seem to stop. I will call them, write them, report them to the BBB and to the attorney general. Shame on CIC!
