I never entered my card information on freecreditreport.com and all the sudden I end up seeing charges monthly for $14.95. When I called the company they confirmed that I had not logged onto the site since my initial log in yet they still had charged me for 4 months of membership when they had it documented I didn't even visit the site or call or use any service rendered by them since November they refused to give me a refund and I am in the process of filing with my bank to get the issue solved!

I like most people wondered what my credit score was, especially with all the hype lately. I set up an account with cic triple advantage freecreditreport.com and gave them my e mail address, ss# and Now I am safe, secure and can easily check all three of my credit scores any time I wish especially since I set up auto pay direct debt so I wouldnt get another bill in the mail to worry about.
I wish I never signed up for this service! I have called three times to cancel and almost came close once. I used to get an email once a month that reminded me of the service im paying for and would try to use it, but for security purposes i can never check with out calling them to unlock my account that has been locked for my protection. I dont want to call that is the point of all the free creditreport.com songs we all love. Now I dont even get an email and cant even log into my account and i still cant cancel because they transfer me around then put me on hold untill i cant take it and just hang up due to over agravation this is bunk

I was fortunate that I saw an unauthorized charge on my credit card credit card a couple weeks after I had logged onto this website for a "free" credit report. They had automatically enrolled me into their scam for $14.95 per month. They agreed to cancel the "membership" but would not refund the $14.95. A complaint to the credit card comapny said they would credit me and bill back to CIC Triple Advantage. Keep away fro their websie for a "free" report. Apparently, they have a "fine" print somewhere that enrolls you into their scam.

I requested a free credit score and ended up with 2 $14.95 charges against my credit card!!!

This is January 2009. Back in April of 2008 I requested a free credit report via freecreditreport.com on line. I recently found out that this company has been charging my credit card $14.95 every month since August 2008 only after I contacted my credit card company regarding another matter ( I must have overlooked it). I never purchased, authorized a purchase or anthing else from this company. I went online to check them out and found thousands of complaints from other people saying the same thing. This company scams and fraudulently charges credit cards after someone requests a "free credit report." Contact your credit card company, cancel your card and report this company to everyone who will listen to you including the Better Business Bureau. When I called my credit company, they indicated that they were "aware of issues" with this company. Chances are, if you contact your credit card company they are already aware of trouble with this internet company and will not hassle you if you file a complaint and dispute the charges.
