CIC Triple Advantage
What the heck is CIC Triple Advantage, these are unauthorized charges. I never signed up for CIC and I am being debited $12.95 a month... I want it stopped immediately.

Unauthorized billings!
Very upset that people like me that struggle to live are getting rip off from fraud companies like CIC TRIPLE ADVANTAGE ALSO FREE CREDIT REPORT OT THE OTHER NAME CREDIT REPORT.COM. JUST LIKE OTHERS they have you sign up for a free report then charge your card from your bank account after the free trail. When you go to cancel they really don't and the following month they charge your account again... i have canceled 6 times and they yet to cancel my membership... is there any one out there that can stop these type of fraud companies... maybe dateline could do a story on these companies?

I did not authorize CIC to charge anything to my account. As their information was to be a free service.

Unauthorized charges!
$12.95 was charged to my account by CIC Triple Advantage on a monthly basis from February 2007 to October 2007, a total of $116.55, for a service that I did not utilize. I called CIC Triple Advantage (877-481-6825) to learn that the charges were a result of me utilizing freecreditreport.com. According to the person that I spoke with at CIC Triple Advantage when I registered for freecreditreport.com, I was obligated to cancel the triple advantage service within a certain number of days of registering to prevent the recurring charges. I did not know this. Please note, after the initial truly free credit report, I did not access this website. The records at CIC Triple Advantage should clearly show this.
When I asked what I needed to do to discontinue the charges, I was told that I had to log on to freecreditreport.com to discontinue the triple advantage service. I had not accessed the website in such a long time that my access had to be reset. I asked the person on the telephone if I could have the charges reversed for the time that I had not used the service. She would not reverse the charges. This is from an organization that calls itself FreeCreditReport.com.
I am still working on getting the $116.55. I have sent complaints to the Federal Trade Commission and to the California Attorney General. I have also disputed the charges on my credit card. I am waiting for resolution.

Fraud charges!
Registering for my free annual credit report, I was tricked into giving credit card information. Somehow this company accessed that information and billed me $12. This charge was not authorized and NO SERVICE WAS PROVIDED. My credit card company told me to contact CIC Triple Advantage at 1-877-481-6825. I reached a recorded message, was placed on hold for 3 minutes. Finally got an answer from someone who agreed to cancel my "subscription."

Unauthorized charge in my account!
Today I looked at my account and saw the few dollars I was going to use for gas had been taken leaving me only 6 dollars in my account. I called my bank and they said I could dispute the charge, but didn't know how long I would have to wait for my funds. I then called my finance almost in tears. (We just moved two weeks ago and are a little tight on cash.) He told me to go back to the website. (I had used http://www.frecreditreport.com) So I did. I remembered my log in. Once in I looked for how to cancel my account, Turns out you have to call a number other than Customer Service. (To cancel you "subscription" call 888-829-6560) I also was furious with the lady ( Michelle, Agent # 4283) and demanded my money be returned to my account. They had charged it this morning. She said it would be refunded within 7-10 business days. If I don't see it I WILL be calling them back!! I hope this works. When I typed CIC Triple Advantage into a search engine to find a number, this complaint line is the first thing that came up. I knew I was in trouble! And worst of all. The lady asked me why i was canceling, and why I didn't find the monthly access to my credit report helpful!!! Maybe because I ALREADY KNOW WHAT IS ON MY CREDIT!!! Huge scam affecting many I am sure. I am glad I was able to stop it early!!

Unauthorized Charges on Credit Card
I have a reoccuring charge of $12.95 on my credit card which I did not authorize. When calling the number listed I got a fax line. My credit card company is disputing these charges and credited me $51.80 plus finance charges. These charges are ridiculous.

unauthorized charges
CIC has made deductions from our checking account for 12.00 and 12.95 for the last 2-3 months. I called them 3/25/08 and asked them to cancel this because I did not order and do not want and more deductions from my account. They assured me the account was cancelled. Well, on 3/27/08 another charge came thru my account for 12.95. I called them back and they said they do not show deducting anything from my account since 3/21/08 and for me to call my bank. I called my bank and they will investigate, but they recommended we cancel our debit cards, which we did. Hopefully this will stop them.1

unauthorized charges
In December 2007 I received a bill for $14.95 from CIC Triple Advantage. Didn't even know what that was. Have been working for 3 months now (into March) to have this charge discontinued. This was totally unauthorized and fraud claim was served through my credit card company. I'm having a heck of a time getting anywhere and can't even cancel my credit card.
