I found charges from this company on my credit card. I am the sole user of this card and no one else has access to it. I don't know who this company is, or why, or HOW they charged my card. I just did a web search on the address listed by my credit card company to find out who this is. I want my $12.95 back. I am being charged $12.95 each month for a service that I do not believe I ever authorized or had any communication with the company called CIC Triple Advantage. What do I do to stop this monthly charge?

An unauthorized $14.95 charge for CIC Triple Advantage showed up on my credit card.

How can they do that? This should be against the law.

This company is another one of those slimy institutions that promises a free credit report, and I suppose it's my fault--that they asked for my credit card # should have been my first clue that they are crooks. In order for your credit report check to remain free, you have to physically call someone at the company (during the time they are open, of course!) within a set amount of time to cancel your "membership" -- though, of course, you're never really told you are a "member, " because you were just checking your credit report, after all. Again, had I truly been paying attention, I could have found all of this out (after a bit of dedicated) research, but this is one of those opportunistic, blood-sucking, nasty companies that takes advantage of financially stressed-out people. Well, okay, lesson learned, but at least I'm glad I'm not one of the people who works for such a leech pit as CIC--you're all a bunch of little cockroaches.
