Unknown charge from bank account
I noticed this charge being deducted from my account every month and could not figure out what it was for...till I looked them up on the internet. Then I realized that I also did one of those "free" credit score/reports.

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES TO MY CREDIT CARD
I USED CIC TRIPLE ADVANTAGE ONE TIME IN THE PAST TO OBTAIN MY CREDIT REPORT AND IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO STOP THEM FROM MAKING MONTHLY WITHDRAWALS FROM MY CREDIT CARD. THEY HAVE CONSTANTLY SENT ME EMAILS AFTER UNSUBSCRIBING. EACH TIME I OPEN THE EMAIL, THEY CHARGE MY CARD $14.95. THEIR SEEMS TO BE NO WAY TO STOP THESE CROOKS.

Unauthorized Charges
I have been charged $12.95 for the past 3 months for services I have never ordered nor received. I'm currently deployed in Iraq and have a very hard time getting in contact with the company. STAY AWAY FROM CIC TRIPLE ADVANTAGE!!!

Did not sign up but keep getting a monthly charge
This is the second time that this has happened. CIC has again started charging me for a monthly service that I did not order.

Unauthorized CC charges
I signed up for a 30 day credit report. I could not get the report unless I input a credit card number. The information said that the credit card would not be charged. I tried to use a series of numbers to get past the screen but you had to actually input a legitimate credit card number. There wasn't any requirement about canceling within the 30 days. I got an email that my 30 days free would expire soon so sign up to continue service. I did not sign up and I tried to sign into my account a few days later and could not get the credit report any longer so figured my time had expired. Then, I received my credit card with an unknown charge on it to CIC Triple Advantage. I didn't know the charge and assumed I'd forgotten about something I did but then the charge came through again the next month. I did a search for CIC Triple Advantage and discovered this Complaint Board which is how I found the phone number to call. I called to cancel but they would not refund me the monthly charges. They said I had used the service and had agreed to the charges. I never agreed to be charged because the service was 30 days free and after that I couldn't access the report. If you sign up for a free credit report, make sure that you immediately cancel the service with a confirmation number.

Sneaky membership
We accidentally signed up for this thing! I was trying to check our credit score before purchasing a newer car. I never had any intention of signing up for this and thought that I had clicked out of all the "accept" window. To make a long story short, we called and were told we could cancel, they would only reimburse us for one month and got told too bad. I did some more research the next day, called my bank, who cancelled my debit card and began the dispute process, filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (1-877-ftc-help) and got a complaint number. I found some different phone numbers for CIC and started calling ! Call 1888-888-8553. These people in this call center are not the same ones as the web site phone number and are way nicer, more polite and will work with you. They reversed four months of charges and it only took about twenty minutes! Other phone numbers are:1-714-978-0078;888-888-8549;714-978-0059;800-220-2626. I think that having the documentation from the bank about disputing the charges and the FTC Complaint number motivated them also! Good Luck!

Easy way out...
I applied for a FREE credit report as well...after 30 days was charged 14.95...have continued to be charged 14.95 on my credit card even though my password no longer works to even see an updated credit report. Now after seeing the charges i looked up the CIC Triple Advantage online, and saw NOTHING but complaint after complaint. So i simply called my bank told them this was a FRAUD and they canceleld the account number assigned a new and sent me new credit cards...problem solved. took me all of 10 mintues on the phone with my bank. I'm hoping my information here can help save alot of people some money and frustration.

RIP OFF
FreeCreditRepor.com (CIC Triple Advantage) is something you need to stay away from! I was so PO'd once I discovered they have been ripping me off for the last 4 months, I didn't bother with the BBB, since they can't do a thing, I filed a complaint with the US Attorney Generals office! The BBB has no authority, but just keeps complaints on file.
Everyone who's had a problem with CIC Triple Advantage needs to file a complaiint with the US Attorney's offce to put some heat on them.
I sent them a link to this web site, and about 10 others, where people complain about FreeCreditReport.com / CIC Triple Advantage.
Hope that something gets done (like peoples asses being thrown in jail), but only after we all get our money returned.
