i have been paying into disability on my american express card since i first got it...now have been on disability through my work since june 14 and am still on now...i understand till your insurance kicks in you have to make the payments...now my insurance has kicked in and they have a check for 330 dollars...which i thought i was getting but apparantly american express gets it..so meanwhile i have been making all my payments to them plus they get the money that i should be gettting from the insurance company ...thats why i paid into disability on my card so when and if i am sick that they pay my monthly payment...which i have been paying now and now they get the check also from the insurance company so that means they have been getting double paid...i have already called 7 different people and they keep telling me to calll someone else...so i guess i'm not making anymore payments cause they have enough for 5 months now...
