I am also an ex-employee of this company and I completely agree with "dredhed". Though dredhed worked there for only 2 months, I worked there from January of '98 to May 2001 and I want everyone reading this comment board to know that this company was once a very reputable industry leader that had been around for over 20 years before its fall. Take in these factors: Theft & mis-management, both presented by a few crooks that the owner never suspected. Imagine 300 phone calls a day to a customer service department only 2 or 3 strong, with no proper management. My guess is you're not getting a call back for a few days, if at all. I'm not trying to make excuses for them or say that what happened to all of you was acceptable, I just want people to know that they were not rip-off artists or "slick NYC camera dealers". The owner of Camera Sound, Ron Levy, is a very honest person. He got burned just like everyone else involved, customer or employee. I am truly sorry for all the people out there that have outstanding issues with this company. I am also very sorry to see what has happened to this once very solid company.
