Wonderful experience
I had a wonderful experience with bloomex. Our company was looking to send our corporate associates a gift for their efforts on a major porject. We had 5 baskets that needed to be sent to 5 different locations throughout Canada. The agent on the phone who took my information was very helpful and pleasant. I told the girl that all these baskets MUST be delivered the next day, she told me she would make sure they would be.
After all my orders were placed the girl advised me that an email with all the details of every order was sent to me via email, she advised me to look it over, if there were any mistakes to call back within the hour to have the corrections done in time for delivery. She advised me that this would also act as my receipt, and that their policies and guarantees were attached. I read the email she sent, and their policies- ALL the baskets were delivered ON TIME and the partners said great things about them. Being the first time I have used this company, and considering I sent out 5 baskets, all arrived on time and in great condition, I would not hesitate to use Bloomex again or recommend their services to partners or affiliates.

Flowers Delivered
I have ordered flowers from bloomex.ca MANY times and they were always beautiful!!
My sister lives in Edmonton, my mom lives in Red Deer, and we live in Montreal. Our family and friends are scattered all over Canada, and we are very fortunate that Bloomex is able to provide us with flowers to send on anniversaries, birthday, etc.
We want to thank BLOOMEX for their beautiful flowers and wonderful services. Keep up the good work!!

Wilted flowers delivered
BLOOMEX DOES NOT CARE!
DON'T BUY BLOOMEX FLOWERS!
We received an order from friends as a congratulation, but the delivery person didn't knock or ring the bell. THey left the flowers in the direct sun where (we can only assume) they burnt and wilted. My wife and her mother were at the house at the time and we can't believe that the person didn't knock or ring the bell.
Then it gets worse.
When we call to get some resolution 1) we're put off onto an answering maching (they will only answer your call if you're ordering some flowers) we're told to e-mail a photo of the damage to [email protected].
Fine - we do it and read the policy that says that they'll get back to us in 24 hours or less.
It's a week later, and we still haven't heard back from them.
Our order number is: 00834460 - so you know we're not "rival florists" trying to smear the reputation of Bloomex.
I'm hoping their complaints department, newly headed by Michelle Robitaille (mentioned on ellenroseman.com), will get back to us - but we'll see.
We are very disappointed.

Flowers are not fresh
I recieved flowers on Friday and followed all the of instructions regarding cutting stems and placing in fresh cool water and by Sunday the lilies were all shriveled and even the golden rod looks dry. The lilies did not look fresh on arrival. I am very disappointed as they are a thank you gift from a visiting friend.

Fresh flowers, are you kitting me
I should have checked all the complaints on this website about Bloomex before ordering!!!
I ordered sunflowers and other flowers for the wedding of one of my friend, what I got was just below all my expectations! The sunflowers were completely thirsty, had already started to rot and were cut so short that I could not even cut another 2 cm . Not only that, but it was clear that these flowers were not freshly cut, as one of their customer agents explained me, these flowers are shipped from Brazil to BC and only then to Ontario. It is clear that after such a long trip the flowers cant be fresh, in particular if there are stored for long period of time!
I have to say that the flowers pots were very nice, but it is clear that the flowers were definitely not worth the money I paid for!

Non-delivery
Stay away from this company! The service and communication are absolutely terrible.
I ordered a flower arrangement for my mother-in-law who just had major surgery. The order was placed in the morning of August 19, 2008 for delivery same day - or next day at latest. I was out of town for a few days and when I contacted my mother-in-law on Sunday, Aug 24th the flowers had still not arrived. Attempts to contact Bloomex were futile. Their customer service phone line only lets you leave a message. When you attempt to talk to a live person at the order desk, they tell you that they only take orders and can't help you. You are re-directed to the voicemail or website with promises that someone will get back to you promptly. That never happens. After no response to my email and voicemail on Sunday, I contacted the company on Monday, August 25th. in the morning. Or, at least I attempted to contact someone. Again, the same run-around. Finally, some kind soul on the order desk said she would file an investigation on my behalf and ensure the flowers were sent that same day. I requested a call or email on Monday letting me know that the flowers were, indeed, sent. I was assured that I would get contacted.
After 5 hours of waiting, I finally called back to see what was happening. This time, a not so accomodating order desk operator insisted she could not help me. Live chat was even worse - they said they could not share what was in their data base with me. All they would tell me is that my order was under investigation and no information would be shared until the investigation was completed. My response was to simply please send the flowers - the reasons for delay/non-delivery could be sent to me at a later date. No one would confirm completion of the order.
I attempted several times to get the phone number of a manager or supervisor - to no avail. In desperation, I went to the Better Business Bureau web site - something I should have done before placing an order, and filed a complaint. The website had the name of Bloomex Inc president - Dmitri Lokhonia- with a phone number, but guess what? The phone number once again takes you to their maddening intake line - you can't get to speaking to anyone of consequence. I demanded to speak to a manager asap, and left a message as such. Of course - no one contacted me.
The flowers did arrive on August 25th - at about 2:00 p.m., my mother-in-law informed me that evening. She says they were absolutely beautiful and perfect, albeit late.
And Bloomex has still not got in touch with me to inform me the order was successfully delivered, despite my repeated requests.
I am still requesting a refund as the promise of same or next day delivery was not met, however, I doubt I will ever hear from this company again.
I will never use Bloomex again, and from now on I will research the Better Business Bureau before making any business transaction. the BBB had an unsatisfactory rating for Bloomex, that if I had checked, would have saved myself a lot of time and aggravation.

Bloomex SUCKS!
My Fiancé sent me flowers at work for our first anniversary, when I opened the box they were all wilted, brown and had a rotten smell that my co-workers complained about!!! This horrible smell lingered in the office for a few days. We sent them an e-mail, because they do not accept complaints over the phone and they wanted to charge him $10.00 for a pick up fee! DO NOT order from this company, this was a huge damper on our special day and they didn’t try at all to rectify their mistake. VERY poor quality product and service.

Bloomex changed flowers from Tulips to Iris without consent
This company is awful. They are only good with you until you pay. They delivered wrong flowers (changed Tulips to Iris) and did the delivery one day late. Customer service, in case you need to fix/correct problems, is a big joke. This company seems to be run by con artists. Beware and do proper research before paying! You should report them to consumer safety and protection if they mess up your order and run away with your money as well.

Dead flowers, and not what I ordered, terrible delivery service
I ordered flowers for a friend who had broken her leg. After 5 days of trying to find out why the flowers were not delivered, a crushed box of dead flowers was dumped at her door and left without even ringing the bell. She called when they arrived so I went over to have a look. The flowers in the box did not is any way resemble my original order, I guess they thought I'd never know. They ahd substituted three pathetic stems of cheap damaged flowers and 2 pieces of salal. They had been tossed into the box without any wrapping to protect then and the stems had been jammed into a piece of dry oasis. It was a total rip off...very embarrassing for me and disappointing for my friend. Their customer service people were rude and not the least bit interested in doing anything to rectify the situation. I asked for a full refund and they told me I had to send back the dead flowers by courier at my own expense to prove there was a problem. What a bunch of loosers.
