Carefully read all the policies before ordering and check out various web sites that list complaints, check with the Better Business Bureau.. If you carefully read some of the compliments you will find most are posted the same day and are most likely posted by the staff at Bloomex.
**Buyer Beware**
You pay for what you get. There are lots of good on line florist, check out others before getting scammed by BLOOMEX.
I've also heard threw other forums that once an employee quits they have to fight for thier final pay.

Bloomex is finally picking up so it seems from some posts, maybe they will pay ex employees final wages sometime and stop ripping them off to ..
I don't really think that there will be many good posts in the future about them, I guess it depends on how many employee's have spare time lol ...
Still waiting for my final Pay from November 18th-2008
I haven't posted the truth about Bloomex in over a week, Like lil ms public relations Michelle said.. stop posting the truth and you might get paid ...lol

FLOWERS
I ordered the Brighten Your Day bouquet from www.bloomex.ca website. I specifically chose it because it was a large bouquet and it supported the Cancer Society. My wife had gotten a promotion at work, and I wanted to let her know how proud I was of her, so I sent this bouquet to her work. My wife calls me to thank me, the flowers were truly beautiful, she said all the girls in her office were envious of her. I had found www.bloomex.ca from a deal website so I though I would give them a try, I looked up coupons, and found a coupon for 10% off, by entering "deal" in the coupon field before checking out.
Overall, I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to friends also.

BUYER BEWARE!!!before ordering ANYTHING from BLOOMEX.CA
CHECK THE COMPLAINTS on line, read the company policies and pray like you've never prayed before your going to need all the help you can get. Just by reading the complaints board you should have a great idea how this company works.
This is a company that will take your money and make you run to get it back if you get it back at all. Of course you won't get it all back because you have to pay to pick up any dead order of flowers or fruit. $9.99 to return a product they sent that is no good half dead or dead... READ READ READ POLICIES

rip off
I'm hoping someone will check this before ordering (what I should have done) and save time and money.
Please DO NOT ORDER FROM BLOOMEX. I ordered flowers that never got there and then got the runaround from there operators, "we will investigate and call you back", "they will be delivered today (4 days late) and we will send you a email confirmation", etc... They never call you back, never send you an email. I'm trying to get my money back now and getting the same "if you have not heard back in 48 hours call us back"
Needless to say, I'm not to hopeful for the refund. I had used FTD in the past and wish I had stuck with them

Before ordering flowers or fruit from Bloomex be sure to read all the policies, check the fee's for different things, there is a charge for picking up any of the damaged or rotten product that you return, that they sent you.
As well check out cancellation fees and other charges.
Be SURE TO ASK FOR A TOTAL BEFORE GIVING YOUR CREDIT CARD, THEN CHECK YOUR INVOICE TO BE SURE TOTALS ARE THE SAME, THEY TEND TO CHANGE.
Also be sure to search the company itself and see how many complaints have been filed against this company ..
And if you choose to order with this Rip Off Company,

order and price incorrect
I have two complaints on this company
I ordered three different bouquets for Thanksgiving - they were meant for the table for three different families - apparently this florist ran out of the orange flowers they were advertising and didn't notify me - they sent pink flowers instead of the orange I had ordered - pink did not work on any of the tables - the customer should have been notified and allowed to agree to the change or not.
The second complaint is that I understand there's a "glitch" in their system that changes the price after the order is done - they ask for the credit card info Before the order is completed and the price increases after the order is done - I want a refund on the money difference and on the three bouquets, and I don't expect to order from them again.

No customer Service
I order flowers from this company, the flowers that I ordered were not sent instead they changed the order, I had chosen a specific flower my mother's favorite of course and what did they send they flower she hates the most. To boot I ordered chocolates and they sent alcohol chocolates cherries in alcohol, My mother is 84 years old and has never had a drink in her life. Policy is they can substitute. and I can pay $9.99 to return the chocolates.
Not only do they expect me to pay for the return of something I didnt order, Its near impossible to get someone in customer service and when you do they disconnect you.
BAD BAD PLACE TO BUY FLOWERS, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I THINK THESE PEOPLE DON'T CARE AS LONG AS THEY GET YOUR MONEY.
Also when i asked for the total before giving my credit card # they gave me 1 price and when I recieved the invoice the price went up.. How does that work?
