Fraud, Do not Buy!
Purchased a Blackberry Curve 3g for 13399. The local dealer sells it for 14000, so not much difference. Took 5 days to deliver a defective phone.

PROBLEMS WITH THE PHONE:
1. Its defective, the home screen is stuck. I cannot access the menu or anything besides call and send. I can make phone calls but thats not all the blackberry is made for, its much more.
2. They advertised a black color and sent a white color, upon calling them they said we don't guarantee the color. Nowhere on their website do they state this. The website shows a black color blackberry.

I have been calling them since four days, telling them my phone is defective. Spoke to a manager named amit. He assured me the phone would be returned and my money refunded, I just have to have the back office call me back within 24 hours. No one has yet to call me, I'm tired of calling Home Shop 18. I am forced to wonder whether there really is a back office or not.

The various times that I have called, these are the responses I've gotten:

HE CALLS ME A LIAR
1.Today, I call back and Amit tells me "Mam. The phone is NOT defective". Basically, calling me a liar indirectly. Question for you Amit. How do you know? Did you even look at my blackberry?

For 3 days that I've been calling over and over again to Home Shop 18, all i've been saying is my phone is defective I can't use it i can't use it. No one listens to you, the only thing they will say is "mam, I understand, I'm sorry, I understand, I'm sorry" like a repetitive harpy. If I wanted emotional support, I'd run to my mom. What I want is for you is a FIX for my problem, a problem which YOU have created Home Shop 18. I don't want to hear sorrys and understands... take this defective phone back and give me back my money. I work day and night to earn just like you, my money is just as important and hard to earn as yours. So stop cheating me and others!

GO USE YOUR WARRANTY, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SENDING ANY DEFECTS.
2. Mam, You have warranty right? we gave you warranty with that. Go to the service center, they can help you. NO! why don't YOU Help me. Yes, YOU, who actually sent me the defective phone and now you have my money so you're sitting there chilling on my stacks of cash. What ever happened to good customer service and satisfying the customer? Somehow youv'e got the whole concept wrong. Customer service does not end when you have our money. It ends when you leave us satisfied. I am not satisfied at all, hence your customer service is incomplete. Come and serve me and fix my issue.

When I called about the color:
I AM HOME SHOP. WE RULE, YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO US.
1. We pick the color for you, we never said we would send you black. Um on the website its a picture of a black phone so what would the average person expect? You advertise a black tshirt and you will send a yellow? Really? Get a life. The color is just as important as any other specification of the phone. You can't say that you're going to change the internal memory of the phone because you don't have 512 mb, so you're gonna give me 256 only. seriously?
If I'm buying the product, I DECIDE what color what product I want. NOT YOU. WHo are you? You are there to provide service because we pay you. I don't pay you to decide what phone color or what style I should carry. You're not my stylist. You're my vendor. Get this definition clear in your head.

2. When i called about the color and the SD Card that was missing and comes with the blackberry, IT SAYS ON THE BOX that they send an SD card with the blackberry (one of the HOme shop representatives assured me MAM if it says on the box it will be in it!).

When I call back to ask where it is? The new rude lady says, "mam we did not promise any card on our website, so we don't give any. and if you wanted the product the way you want it, you should have got it from blackberry, this is home shop 18". REALLY? Wow, i never knew i should i have got it directly from blackberry. Thankyou for the advice! i know now!
The SD card is a part of the package that blackberry ships out with its product. If the sd card is missing, home shop18 either takes it out and sells it seperately or they're lying and not getting the phone directly from the company.

I've actually been told at many instances that it doesn't come directly from the company, then some say that it does, some say it doesn't. You really don't know what to expect with this company, one day its one thing, another day its another thing.

I WILL LIE TO YOU AND CHEAT YOU BECAUSE IT IS FUN.
3. I told amit, if he's taking back the phone I'm buying a new blackberry from the Blackberry vendor. He said go ahead mam I assure you you will get the refund. I went ahead and bought a new blackberry. So now I'm stuck with two phones. And i ended up paying 28000 in total for both. I could have bought the latest blackberry bold with that money. One of the phone is defective and useless and I'm stuck with something that should have been HOme Shop's responsibility.


MESSAGE FOR HOME SHOP 18: BOTTOMLINE: You want to create a website and do online shopping and be all americanized, but you lack the skills to back it up. You have terrible customer service, you lie and you cheat people. Its sad and pathetic. You have not just lost me as a customer. But you've lost thousands of people that will read this review, and thousands others that are my friends and I won't let my friends buy from you. Whereever I go, I will make sure to share my story so no one else burns their hands.

I have never till my life come across so much lies. Someone who actually calls ME a liar, the customer, without even checking to see if there's something wrong with the product???

MESSAGE FOR CUSTOMERS: Please do not buy from here at all. Read ALL reviews online for this company. I wish I had before I bought the phone. I was lied to, called a liar, cheated, deceited, and now I'm in a state of anger and sadness that will probably stay with me all my life whenever I hear about online shopping. I've been burned. Do not let this happen TO YOU. Save your money and go else where. Home shop 18 is a vulture, they're sweet when they talk to you and then they'll take it all away from you. Don't fall for it.
