Don't buy from them
Bestbuy online agents, sales, and customer care are the worst agents i have ever seen. First they deducted money from credit card and after few days they cancelled my order due to lack of information of credit cards and they emailed me to call them on 1-888-237-8289. I called them and i have spent exactly 39 mint to get the correct person and they keep transferring the call to each others and i have waited more than 25 mint on hold, at the end while i was talking with one of customer care agent she closed the phone while i was explainning to her, i just got crazy when she closed the phone because i spent 39 mint intertional call... and till now they didn't refund me or even they are not answering to my emails, i advise all not to buy from them ...

No one will help me
I am sending this everywhere until someone helps me. I am also posting on all social media sites until I can get this handled.
My story: I purchased a TV on BB.com on Black Friday with a scheduled delivery for today, 12/16. I received order & delivery confirmation via email immediately after. I checked my order online this AM & it said status "not available." I called BB.com & talked to Ryan M who told me the delivery would have to be rescheduled. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he said she refused to talk to me (Courtney L). Ryan put me thru to consumer relations (Amber) who talked to order support (Ashia) who told me my TV would, in fact, be delivered today before 7 PM. 7 PM came & went so I called BB.com & talked to Shonda who told me that Amber & Ashia were incorrect & my TV was never going to be delivered. Shonda gave me the contact info for the delivery center bc she said that I had to reschedule delivery with them. I called the delivery center & Tabitha told me that she can't even access the order bc it's locked by BB.com.
I CAN'T EVEN CANCEL THIS ORDER. I need someone to provide even MEDIOCRE customer service and help me. I've been given misinformation MULTIPLE times, my time has been wasted, my nerves frayed, and I STILL have no resolution. I will keep reposting this until I get some decent customer service.

Accused of theft
Went to store purchased camera $650.00 and tv $500.00 dollars. I was sold wrong memory card for the camera. Went back with the cards opened and walk strait through the store to the sales person that helped me . She gave me the correct cards and I looked at some other items. Went to exchange them and when I did they called me upfront and accused me of stealing the cards that I was returning . Basically told me to confess or they would call the police. Because when I went in the store they did not mark it returned and as far as I know there is not a sign telling you to do this. As I was waiting for the review of the store tapes I was standing in the front of the store still be accused of theft because they were stating that they saw me opening the package. No tape found no apology and the worst part still thinking I took the items when I left.

Defected GPS
I bought a GPS (Garmin nuvi) from BESTBUY in black friday deal as online from bestbuy.com THe item was advertised as new, but it was I think refurbished. Actually it was a defected unit because there was a green dot on the screen. I returned the item the same day I got it. I brought it to local best buy store, They took it back, but they named the reason for returning as dublicate.
I have very serious doubts that this item will be resold again as an open unit.
I will never buy from best buy especialy online.
As a consumer, I am very very disoppointed. I wanted to buy my first GPS from best buy as garmin, and it was a disoppointment.
They did not try to change my gps, they told me we will refund you you can buy the item online again, but the same price is not guaranteed.
This is really a terible way to treat a costumer.

Online toshiba notebook order
Hi,
I ordered a toshiba laptop on bestbuy.com by online shopping at the date of 12 August. My order number was BBY01-297458038064 . By 12th of August i got an email saying that my order was completed and it would be ready for shipping within one day and the estimated delivery date was before 20th of August. But i got no e-mail after that. So on 15th of August i sent another e-mail and asked the status of my order. I got a response on the 16th of August saying that my order was back ordered and they were waiting for the supplier... So i wrote another e-mail and complaint about not informing me about the case before my e-mail and asked if it could be delivered before 23th of August since i wil leave US at that date. And got an e-mail on the 18th saying that it wouldn't be possible to deliver my order before that day, and i could cancel my order by replying that e-mail if i'd like. And at the same day i replied with an e-mail asking to cancel the order. I got
no response! than i wrote another e-mail using my bestbuy account, and got no answer. On 19th i wrote my third e-mail to cancel the order, got no response!
So at 20th of August icalled the customer service and asked to cancel the order, they told me that my order was ready to ship and she was not sure if she could cancel it, but she would inform me with an e-mail about the case. Guess what? They did not send me any e-mail! Now i am travelling out of US and will not be able to get my order, and i can not either cancel it! What will happen to the Money i payed now?

Worst buy
I bought my wife a digital camera to replace the one she had. The previous was bought at this same Best Buy but was ruined accidentally. We did not purchase insurance. The seond time, we again were asked by the sales associate if we wanted insurance. We specifically wanted to know if theinsurance covers all damages. After she convinced us that the insurance would cover the cost of any and all damages, even accidentally. We paid close to $600.00 for the package. A year later, while vacationing, the camera was ruined when I fell with it. When I returned to Best Buy, they told me that the insurance did not cover accidental damages. It was an extension of the one year warranty already included. Best Buy will do whatever it takes to take your money. They are dishonnest and untrained. Best to shop at Circuit City.

Horrible service
I ordered a digital camera from BestBuy.com for around $240. After 1 week, I checked UPS tracking system and UPS said it was delivered, and it wasn't. Someone was home all day that day. I called UPS twice and they said they could not do anything because they were only liable to Best Buy, so I had to talk to Best Buy to get my money back, and then Best Buy would get their money back from UPS. I called the Best Buy customer service line at 888-BEST-BUY. I waited for 30 minutes and no one answered the phone. UPS called and no one answered. I emailed them through the Contact Us link, and no one emailed me back. So, with no other choice, I went to a Best Buy store in Fairfax County, VA. A "Customer Experience Manager" (cute title, as if they really care) called the number and finally got through to someone. They "logged" the issue, gave me a case #, and said they would call me back in 2 days. I said that all I wanted was a refund on my card. They refused and insisted someone had to call me back in 2 days, because that was their "process" and they could not bend the rules. The manager at the store said that if they don't call me back, come back in and he would take care of it. Of course, no one called me back, so in 4 days I went back to the store. They called and had me wait on the phone for over 30 minutes. They said they couldn't do anything, and now I had to wait another 5 - 10 days. So the people at the store and the people on the phone refused to do anything to help me. I managed retail businesses for 12 years and I tried to explained to the managers that all of this was going to cost more than $240 when it was over because I am going to tell everyone I knew. They should have just refunded my money. I was there 2 hours, and meanwhile, they were giving refunds to everyone that said anything like, "I just don't like this ...". And here I am totally ripped off, and they refused to help me. Finally, after 2 hours, they went and got the head manager of the store, and he said he would not do anything, and he made me leave the store. I will never buy anything from Best Buy ever again. This was the second time I lost money with them. They rip people off and get away with it either intentionally, or they are just incredibly incompetent when it comes to customer service. No one at the store or on the phone was empowered to just fix the problem.

Do not honor return policy
I have a receipt for a Freedom keyboard item 2070122 and i have been trying to return it because I can't get it to work properly. I have called numerous times and they say they will call back and don't. My receipt says I have 30 days, but they said I only had 14 days to return the product. HELP!! 914-629-6572 What do i do? Vista not even released yet - how about telling us EXACTLY what the coupon says?
I purchased a laptop from bestbuy.com last week with Microsoft XP but with a FREE VISTA UPGRADE. They would even pay the shipping and handling charges. Just print the Rebate form and send it in for the Free Vista Express Upgrade Disc.
I called the Rebate center at 1-800-817-5602. They said this is false and bestbuy and circuit city are not telling the truth about this. There is just a discounted coupon you are entitled to. It is not free and you have to purchase VISTA. What a lie and a rip off from such big companies at holiday time. We should all be entitled to a get a real vista upgrade for free. I am disgusted.
Please don’t be fooled by the FREE VISTA UPGRADE LIE and don’t buy from bestbuy.com.
