Dishonest - Bait and Switch on Group Rate
I am a leader of a group of Motorcyclist that holds monthly meetings. We have at least 60 members in the San Jose Chapter. We wanted to try the Bay Buffet so our Road Captain called and made arrangements for a group discount of $8 a piece (not counting drinks). He made this arrangement in person and even left a $100 deposit. Tonight, over 50 people showed up to have our meeting. We had it and afterwards, they did not honor their price arrangement and made up pay $11 a piece, $27% more! People in our non-profit group are having a hard time paying $8 let alone paying $27% more then arranged. It was embarrassing and wrong. NOT AN HONEST ORGANIZATION. Even afterward, after we confronted them and they still raised the price, the person that left the deposit, tipped them. The lady manager took the money and shook the two twenties dollar bills and smiled greedily at the cashier. As for this group of eaters, we will not go back. We dust our shoes off at them and are now looking for some restaurant to host our monthly club meetings for about 50 to 60 people every time. They lose! Not to mention that the food was sub-standard but good enough for bikers I guess. If they would have honored thier agreement, we would have been back there every month. Not now.

Bad service
This restaurant is extremely rude. The waitress called my nieces are fat. The waitress was extremely rude and very disrespected the elder, my MOM and DAD.
The waitress own me an appology, not only to me, but to my MOM and DAD and to my nieces. She was extremely rude, she has no maner at all, she called my nieces are big girls and fatty, she talked and acted like my MOM was lying to her to get $1.00 off discount, as I told her so many times that I DON'T CARE about money so stop inquiring my Mom in that way, stop talking to my MOM without respect, she has to shows respect to elders. She was extremely rude and raised her voice back to me like she has to check ID. Is she deaf or something? because so many times I told her I DON'T CARE ABOUT DISCOUNT, STOP TALKING WITHOUT MANER TO MY MOM but seems like she didn't care, she gave my MOM a dirty look, keep in mind my parents are both over 70yrs old, they old enough to be her grandparent, would she or you would like someone talks to your parents in that way, without respect and raise the voice, roll the eyes at your parents and called your family members are fat and make fun of their sizes??? just add insult to injury of how unprofessional the manager was handled, he didn't get my point, I DON'T CARE ABOUT DISCOUNT, all I wanted is the waitress to appologies to my MOM and DAD. I'm a good paying customer and I always expect to be treated courteously, What a traumatizing experience, you guys (this restaurant/Bay Buffet) own me an appology big time, I never met anyone rude and no maner like that waitress, and unproffesional how the manager was handle the sistuation, he was completely tolerated the bad behavior the bad rude service that his employee was giving to customer, to the elder and to the children. The waitress, she has to learn a lesson: she can't talk like that to everyone, to elders, and even worst when she called my nieces are fat. I'm hurt, I'm even more hurt when the waitress was screaming and rude to my parents when the manager was there but he tolerate and pretend he didn't know what's going on. Just imaging how insult that would be when you take your parents and family out for lunch on a nice Sunday and got treated in that way? How do my nieces feel when the waitress called them big girls and so fat and making fun of their sizes? just put your self in my shoe and you tell me how do you feel? I never hate anyone in my entire life but I hate and regret that I went to this restaurant, this wound will never heals.
