Rude behaviour

As my family and I returned home from an outing, I noticed that there were two vehicles parked in a "future residents" section. I noticed that the large dodge ram 2500 that was there, had been parked there often for the last month. I thought that maybe they were getting rid of those spots, and opening them up to residents. So I parked there. When we entered the building, we were immediately confronted by a "gentleman" who told me I couldn't park there. (not asking if he could help...he had no clue who we were, and his arrogance was not appreciated) I asked him, "well, that truck has been there for the last month, and..." he wouldn't let me finish, interrupting me with "you can't park there" I then asked him who was parked there. He said it was him, a unit manager. Unit manager?? "I thought it was for future tenants?" I asked. In which he said he was...ya, ok bud. Maybe this guy should be concerned about managing units, not being parking enforcement.

It's bad enough our hallways are a mess, our lobbies have drywall missing and insulation hanging out, I really don't think the tenants need an arrogant jerk like that. Ever since Avalon took over, it's been a nightmare trying to get any help around the units. I have mold in my apartment, that has been there for months. I have contained it, but am still waiting for proper people to remove it. Very professional, eh?

Unprofessionalism & Mistreat Residences

'A sparkling outdoor swimming pool and spa, fitness center are just a few of the amenities at your disposal. With everything that Avalon at South Coast has to offer, you will have more time for the things most important to you. We call that, Time Well Spent.'
This is the statement they posted on their website, however, that is not the case. The poor is dirty and the gym is a dingy room with a couple equipments. Some don't even work. I moved here over two years ago and the place was not bad. However, when they began renovating the apartments, they did not disclose all the details. They didn't ask me or any of the residences but they told us to pack all our stuff in the kitchen & bathroom so the workers can do their work. If I (we) don't do it then they are not responsible for any breakage. They even said to put the pets in a cage or kernel and placed it in the bedroom during work hours. (Talk about cruety to animals) They also said since they will put in a new refrig the residences must get rid of theirs. They didn't give me or the residences any choices. For two weeks, I was living in hell because my bedroom was full of my bathroom&kitchen stuff and no place to eat or really comfortable have a shower. For two weeks, I inhaled dust and exposed to asbestos. My apartment was dirty and filled with dust. Nails were on the carpet. They left my apartment door open after they were done for the day for all to enter. I expressed my concerns to the person in charge of this project and she was rude. I also asked for compensation and she told me she can give me $25 per day that I can't use my kitchen. I told her that is not equal to the misery that I endured, and she basically implied that it's too bad. I could have moved from the place but being a single woman in this strange city, I don't have anyone to help. I have talked to the front office numerous times during the renovating but they don't care. They take my rent money and basically slap me in the face with their treatments. I hope other residences at this place will post their complaints on here for others to see. I will warn everyone of this place so they don't have to live in misery as I do. I will post the pictures of my place after I moved cause I don't want retaliation.
